something that's actually helped me before is reminding myself that "I'm not the center of the universe."

And I know this is told to people to lower their egos and such, but sometimes I'll be walking and public and randomly thinking "oh what if they're thinking i'm weird" or i'll be thinking about that thing i did online years ago and wonder "what if they still think about that and dislike me????"

But I'm not the center of the universe!!!!! I'm not the awkward main character of a movie where everyone whispers about how weird they are. People probably aren't noticing me (it's not like I think about every person i see on the street), and I HIGHLY doubt anyone is actually sitting in their bed and thinking "god i hate that rando on the internet from that one mild situation that was already resolved two years ago"
