LOVE ISLAND CHALLENGE: CAST REVEAL

Alright, it’s the big moment: who will be joining us for this season of Love Island? First of all, I want to thank everyone who submitted a sim for the challenge! You guys created some beautiful and complex characters for this thing, and I couldn’t be more grateful for that! As you know, my original goal was to reach a total of 28 sims for this challenge: as it stands right now, I have received 25 entries (which jfc I didn’t even know if I would get ten thank you so much). It’s a little less than desired, but definitely doesn’t stop me from moving forward with starting this as soon as possible: in the future when I need additional sims, I’ll either be asking some mutuals to throw me a bone, or opening a small casting call lol. But essentially this means, if you’ve entered a sim, congratulations, your baby is going to Love Island!

Now, on to the big stuff: who will be the first ten to enter the Villa? This was a really tough decision for me, because I love all the backstories you guys came up with for your sims, so it was excruciating having to limit myself for the first wave lol. Since I’ll be using WickedWhims in my gameplay, I’d like to implement the attraction system, and would like your input for gets each of your sims hot and bothered lol.

For the rest of you, you’ll also be receiving a link to the Google form, and you can send me your sim’s tray files and cc at your leisure (except for a select few who I will be contacting directly about their sim entering the Villa soon after the initial ten 👀👀)

Howdy Y’all, I'm Lanie. I am a 26-year-old paralegal from WillowCreek. I guess I would describe my self bisexual, biracial, outgoing, and confident goofball. I have never met a stranger and always try to be the life of the party, even if it gets me in a tad bit of trouble. 

I grew up in a military family. I’ve moved around a lot and my family is my whole world. I have the best parents, my dad, David is a retired Colonel and my mom, Bess is a middle school teacher. They live in Strangerville. My two sisters, Maddie, and Averie are my best friends. Growing up we did everything together, and we still try to.  My older sister Maddie and I work together at my Uncle’s law firm. Averie, my little sister, is going to Med-school.

I love to not take life too seriously, however, this doesn't apply to my dating life. Sure I have had my fair share of flings, but I have always wanted the kind of relationship my parents have. Sure they have their fair share of arguments, (who doesn't) but they always work it out. They're in it for the long run. 

My last relationship last two and a half years, we were engaged. It ended when I came home to him and some sluty blonde in our bed. Turns out he had been cheating on me with her for over four months. I wish him and his new girlfriend the best though. Anyways Its been a little over a year and what better way to get back on my feet than this.  

Fun facts:  

She has an Irish Setter named Harlo

Her favorite band is The Temptations because she grew up listing to them with her dad

She did speech (Persuasive) and debate (LD)  in high school and  college 

She would get in trouble as a kid for going up to strangers (mostly adults) and starting up conversations 

She loves to dance even though she is really bad at it

Growing up as the middle child, she was always trying to stand out

She is not easily  bored, because there is always something to do or people to talk to 

She is the sassiest of her sisters
