#3 Homework 1
Three things I learned about Tumblr: 1- Tumblr was established in 2007, and it handles 40 million posts per day. 2- Tumblr is a blogging hybrid, combining Twitter and Word Press together. Twitter with it's followers, timelines, retweets, replies and favorites. Word Press with it's longer posts, scheduling, multimedia, pages and tags. 3- Each Tumblr user has a "Radar" section where they can find the most liked and most re-blogged images.

#1 Homework 1
One thing I learned from the textbook reading was that Christopher Allbritton began web blogging in 2002. During the American invasion of Iraq, Allbritton wanted to personally be there so he started a web log to write/report from and travelled to the Mideast. He offered a new view on the crisis that the public was receiving from the U.S government.

Why I chose music
I chose music as my topic of interest because I enjoy listening to music daily. I like to listen to music daily because it makes me feel good about my day. Also, music helps me waste time and it helps me overcome boredom at times. All in all, music is a big part of my daily life.

Quote
Where words fail, music speaks.
Hans Christian Andersen

This quote to me means that sometimes words don't express how a person is feeling or what a person is trying to say, but music does.

These two rap/hip-hop artists are no strangers to collaborating with one another.
