Quick Update!
Hey!
I suck at life and forgot i had a tumblr. Not much has been happening with noble recently, so i haven’t had much of a reason to be active. So dont expect too many posts.

He’s gotten so good at eating! A couple weeks back he was kind of awkward about the whole feeding thing. But now he’s a stone cold killer! I wish i got footage of the initial strike, because it was brutal! But just watch him get it down! I couldn’t be more proud of my strong lil’ boy!

Changes!
So i know i said these would be daily. But...i didn’t realize how little you actually do with your reptile on some days. I’ve switched my handling schedule to every other day, to not overstress noble, and i only ever really spray the enclosure every now and then to keep humidity up. Noble’s doing just fine. I’m so happy to have such a beautiful animal. But noble isn’t the only reptile i plan on getting. In the next 3 years, i want a ball python, and a bearded dragon. I’ve owned BD’s before, and love them. But a ball python would be a much more drastic change of pace. So i’m thinking i’ll get a Beardy before a bally. But first i want to watch Noble grow! So this year i plan on spending a lot of time to Noble, to make sure he’s happy and healthy. I’ll do whatever it takes, and learn from my mistakes.

It was a pretty simple day. I handled Noble for 10 minutes or so. I did get to hear some cool stories from my dad about all of his past reptiles. We used to have a bearded dragon that we kept in this giant cage in the kitchen of our trailer. Like it took up most of the kitchen. I miss that bearded dragon. We had to sell it when we moved. But i have noble now! And i’m perfectly happy with him!

Blog #4
I lost track of the days lol.
Hello! So i’ve decided that i wont post on weekends simply because i know i’ll never think to do so. So from Sunday, to thursday is when i will post. But i will give you news of what has happened with Noble over the weekend. So first, my best friend finally got to meet him! He fell in love with Noble pretty quick. I fed noble the next day, and that was all really. On sunday i did my first cleaning of the cage, replacing the bedding, and wiping down to enclosure. As well as cleaning the husbandry, and water dish. I put in a little less aspen so it wasn’t as messy, and i think it looks much nicer. And once again that was all for sunday. Now today wasn’t much different, but there was a little incident. Noble seemed much more scared while holding him. Which was odd because he would usually calm down after a minute or 2. But when i put him back in his enclosure he remained still. I put the lid back on, and he suddenly whipped around like lightning into his hide. He was super scared. I felt awful, but i dont know what i did. So i’m gonna see how he reacts tomorrow. Also i’m gonna call Noble a he until we can get him sexed. Anyways that’s all for now.

Blog #3 - Day 17
I’m so happy! Today started off really well. I woke up to get ready for school, and went to get the snake’s lamp turned on. I looked inside and the first thing i saw was something sticking out of the hide. I was tired and groggy so it took a second to process, but i quickly realised that it was Noble’s shed! And it was all in one piece. I couldn’t be more happier! I’m glad i gave Noble that bath yesterday, because it shed later that night. Other then that, handling went well, and that’s it. Pretty awesome though!
I’m gonna keep it forever!

Last Saturday’s footage of Noble eating a pinky! Noble’s a really good eater! You know when it actualy...grab’s them by the head first. If it doesn’t then Noble just shuffles it around. It’s kinda cute! But...just means i gotta wait a few more minutes. Oh well! Anything to make sure my Lil’ Noble is eating properly!

Blog #2 - Day 16
So today was fairly simple. I got home and saw my snake on the cool end of the enclosure. It’s winter where i live so the cold end was especially cold. I’ll have to find a way to fix that this weekend. But i handled it for a moment, and warmed it up. Oh yeah, also i have a name for it now! It’s name is...
Noble!!!
Yep! I love this name so i gave it to my snake. So anyway, after handling it i put him back for an hour to let him relax. I decided that i should soak it to help with it’s upcoming shed. I made sure the water was 90 degrees when input it in, and i took it out at about 70 degrees so it wouldn’t get too cold. This was the first time i got to watch my snake drink! It’s so cute. I took this video but it didn’t drink while i was filming so...i’ll try harder next month!
But i made sure to get some water all over it’s scales, so that he is fully hydrated for it’s shed! I’m hoping he sheds on friday, because i dont wanna deal with that on feeding day, which is saturday. Speaking of which, i have a video of Noble eating that i took last saturday. I’ll make a separate post for that after this one. But once i got Noble all soaked, i put him on the warm end of it’s enclosure so it could dry against the aspen. So yeah! That’s all for today’s blog.

Blog #1 - Day 15
Today was an interesting day, in terms of caring for my snake. The past few days my corn snake had cloudy blue eyes. I knew this meant it was gonna shed, so i set up a humidity box, to temporarily replace it’s rock hide, just until it shed. So today i returned home from school, and checked on how it was doing. I was shocked to find that it’s eye’s were no longer cloudy. This confused me, as i knew that there was no way my snake shed in just 3 days. I searched the whole enclosure, searching for any shed, but there was nothing. I watched a video of a baby cornsnake shedding, and it didn’t have blue eyes either, so i just figured that’s normal. It also pooped for the first time in my care today! Which...yeah it’s gross but it does mean it’s healthy! It actually pooped really soon after i held it for the first time today. I knew it was gonna poop because of it’s bloated tail region. But i was surprised to see a skinny tail a few hours later. I found the poop and took it out. I also got it to curl around my wrist like a bracelet! Which is awesome because handling a small corn snake is very tiring. Anyway, that is all for today.

Hello!
I’m Lena, and this is my cornsake. By this post i got it about 14 days ago, on christmas eve. I have yet to name it, and i dont know it’s gender. I will use this blog to keept track of all the things currently going on with the snake! I will most likely be making a post for name suggestions, but i do already have a name or 2 in mind. Anyways, hope you like this! Bye!
