Lessons I learnt this year. #1 Don’t make home out of people. They leave, they leave all the frigging time. Save your heart from the sorrows, be independent and put yourself first. Self love is not selfish. #2 Dreams do come true after all but that doesn’t mean you can sit still and do nothing. You have to work your ass off for it then it’ll surely come your way. #3 Friendship doesn’t fill the gas tank. Not gonna elaborate on this, well all know this! #4 Love yourself. Buy that dress even though it comes with a hefty price tag, read that book that you have in your shelf for the longest time, wear make up , paint your face as your heart desires, sleep for 12 hours , sleep the whole weekend away, sleep for 1 hour if that’s what you want. This is your life, you can’t let people dictate what’s supposed to be yours.

This is what I'm packing for San Francisco for 10 days of sight seeing, some nights out and lots of eating 😋 I'm pretty sure I've overpacked but seriously who doesn't overpack these days. You need to be prepared for all kinds of activity and randomness! So here's a very detailed list as to what I've packed... 2 pairs of jeans 1 pair of linen trousers 3 pairs of jean shorts 2 pairs of pjs Socks & underwear (obviously) 2 day dresses + 2 day/night dresses 2 day/night skirts 1 bikini (you never know) 2x cardigans (1 white, 1 navy) 1x zip up hoodie 2x jumpers 8x everyday t-shirts 3x vest tops 1x clutch bag 1x hand bag Wash bag - general shampoo & conditioner, face wash ect. Make up bag Hairbrush & hair clips Hair straighteners 2x fashion belts Travel plug 1x thin summer coat What I'm wearing to go in; Black skinny jeans, Black Chelsea boots, Green T shirt from pull & bear, Desigual denim jacket. Shoes; Red converse, Navy Fred Perry plimsole style shoes, White summer sandals, White straps heels. Hand luggage; Phone, iPad, camera, iPod & earphones, Battery pack, Chargers (iPad, iPod, camera, phone) Notebook & pens, Chicken soup for the soul reading book, Car keys, Ibuprofen, paracetamol, night nurse, sudafed, travel sickness tablets, plasters. Small mirror, hair bands & clips, Suitcase digital scale, Purse, Passport. On board liquids; Pure coconut hand cream, Small tube of sudacreme, Eos lip balm, Travel deodorant, Nail polish, Toothpaste & toothbrush, Fucidin cream, Origins 'drink up - intensive overnight face mask. I think I got everything.. Definitely overpacked 🙈 but I don't even care, here we come San Francisco!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
