i think people misunderstand why we dislike the term impure regression. it's not that we don't think it's okay to have bad feelings and experiences while regressed, far from it actually. it's the term itself, and the way it implies there's a "wrong" way to regress. you can feel impure during these times, sure, but actually calling your regression itself impure furthers the idea that regression is meant to be all sunshine and happiness and that it isn't something people do out of trauma, and that if you have negative experiences while regressed that's wrong and bad. maybe we as a community should call it something else? idk man. id really prefer we not accidentally stigmatize ourselves, thanks.
