You take a moment to admire him, from his long eyelashes that frame his face down to his slightly pouted lips. In that moment you smile as you think about how lucky you are to have him. “I love you Choi San,” you whisper.

[3:12pm] “can i kiss you?” mingi said, his voice so faint you were uncertain if you actually heard correctly or not. the two of you had been friends for a good year, lately the friendship slowly starting to feel like something more - but you weren’t sure if he felt the same way. the two of you were currently standing in your kitchen, trying to decide on where to go out for dinner later. you looked at him, blinking a few times at his sudden question.

“what?” you asked, having him repeat himself to know it wasn’t just your ears fooling you.

“nothing.” he mumbled, trying to avoid your eyes.

“no, mingi, ask again - please.” you nudged him slightly, encouraging him to retry.

“i was wondering if- if you would let me kiss you?” he proposed. you really had heard correctly, a smile forming on your lips as you turned towards him.

“yes.” you whispered, causing mingi’s eyes to widen at the response. for a few seconds, he just stood there without doing anything. then, he very gently took your face in his hands and leaned in. he flinched ever so slightly when your noses touched, shocked at how close he had you. you shut your eyes as the sensation took you - his lips hit yours carefully, barely brushing over them for the first moment. then, it turned into a sweet, but longing peck. he pulled away for a mere second before going back in, now having gained the confidence to go in for a slow french kiss. unknowingly, he started humming into the kiss, which made you giggle and break away. as you opened your eyes, mingi was standing in front of you with flushed cheeks, making you chuckle even more.

“that was lovely.” you admitted, causing him to light up.

“yeah?” he said, placing his forehead against yours.

“yeah.” you told him, leaning in for another kiss.
