Come to think of it, another character I’d love to see interact with Natsuki Subaru from Re: Zero is Furina from Genshin Impact. I mean, both have or have had to keep a massive secret from those around them with horrible consequence if they do, in the form of a yandere witch telekinetically groping his organs in Subaru's case and all of her people being doomed to dissolve in a nation destroying flood in Furina's case. Plus there's their respective self-esteem issues and their psychological issues resultant from being immortals with all the negative drawbacks associated with their respective forms of immortality. Granted, Furina is arguably more mentally stable than Subaru, considering her 500 years of suffering are over while Subaru's life is currently hell on earth and, as such, Subaru is currently barely sane if not outright insane. Also, both of their self-esteem issues prevent them from seeing most of their accomplishments as valid. Plus, Furina's japanese voice actress is the same as Rem's so there's fodder for a 'hey you sound similar to someone I know' gag that crossovers sometimes do.

I wish Pride got a little more love from people, like Damn is just full of classics and it took 3 relistens to realize how often I heard Kendrick songs without knowing who he was back in 2017-18 Aside from Duckworth I feel like Pride is just the most masterfully written song with some incredibly hard hitting lyrics and is the most beautiful sounding song Kendrick has made to date. Idk what it is about Steve Lacy features but when he's on a song it elevates.

Man the funnest part of growing up is watching every commentary channel fumble into a controversy strong enough to kill the dying old grandmother they call a career or become a mediocre film "critic" I love it. It's like the worlds most messed up bingo that everyone is to scared or sad to play
#babaspeaks#this is about just a robot btw#Remember being like 13 watching his videos on crappy reactubers.#Its insane how nearly every commentary content creator from that era is either washed or reviewing ratatoing

I don't think Chromakopia is T's new best album or anything but it kinda sucks to see people act like Tyler was just rehashing with this album. There are songs that feel like they could've been slapped onto other albums but this album is full of so much more soul then any other album. It's not some major sound switchup like cherry bomb to flower boy but it's standout, different. Like every T album

I feel Tyler took the lessons of Mr Morale & the Big Steppers to heart, undoubtedly his most reflective record while I feel this is to Cherry Bomb like what CMIYGL was for Wolf. Won't say it's instantly his peak, need more playbacks, but none of these tracks missed.
Biggest takeaway is that a mother's love I ain't ever taking for granted. She done more than enough for me and like Tyler, I seek to repay that as we grow.

Its such a shame "Sticky" comes right before my pick for the best song on the album "Take Your Mask Off" Like you have this beautifully vulnerable and open song with Tyler talking about his sexuality and the difficulties he had growing up and having to put on a mask, pulling a full Eminem and going as far as to diss his past self and all his faults. Then you got Sexyy Red commiting lyrical war crimes right beside it like lol? I like Sticky but going from that to peak music is whiplash I'd only let T get away with.

Nah I made up my mind. Weezy was alright, Tyler was good but Sexyy Red violated several geneva conventions upon my ears
Sticky feels like an evolved Chromakopia version of BSD. Whether thats a good or bad thing I leave up to observers.

"see, in a perfect world, i'd choose faith over riches. i'll take all the religions and put 'em all in one service, just to tell 'em we aint sh- but He's been perfect"
this shows how deep kendrick is. he reveals how he thinks about human nature and this idea is found in none other than the Bible. as humans, our nature is to destroy and break down. to be better than that, we have to look up to something higher.

Love that in practically all of the Kingdom Hearts games it only sprinkles in a little of emotional damage throughout the games until it hits you in the end but in KH3 is straight up Disney World *gunshot* Disney world *gunshot gunshot* Disney world *BOMB*

Reducing Guts down to just wanting to kill Griffith is boring but also incorrect. One of the things I love about Guts is like. He still loves people who did him immense harm, and I always like to see that. Don’t get me wrong I can appreciate a cold blooded revenge kill story where they don’t feel anything but hate anymore but that’s not Guts and never has been. He feels guilty and awful about Gambino his whole life. He hoped Gambino would love him the way he wants to be loved his whole childhood. Despite his anger his feelings for Griffith are so much more than just hate. On the hill of swords we see even with everything that’s happened to him he STILL wants Griffith to give him any hope he can keep clinging too.
I love that both Guts and Serpico are called dogs because of this…a part of them will always want to be loyal.
