hollvanian culture is really weirdly specifically strict about gender in a way i refuse to capitulate to. i don’t know if it’s because people tend to take duality way more seriously here or if this is just the hardcore trad bioessentialist capital of the world for unrelated reasons. i don’t really care about whatever deep seated geopolitical background is probably simmering under the surface, but it gave us the scaldra, so i imagine it’s not great.

i’ve always found it annoying in a comical way that the bathrooms in the bar that we dug up had sun and moon signs to delineate gender. literally who cares, just piss and move on, right? so kaya has decided that we should organize a “social experiment” wherein we swap the signs around arbitrarily to see how all the civvies react.

the reason it’s a social experiment and not just fucking around is because she’s writing it all down. i’m involved because i’m tall enough to reach the signs without needing a boost and agreed to participate without hesitation because i thought it would be funny.
