Manic Panic: Amethyst Ashes REVIEW

Hello guys! In this review I’ll show you the result of this product on me~

I ordered mine from GWYSHOP 

It’s really tempting since it has a nice color on the pic and said it’s Manic Panic’s limited edition product. So might as well try! This is actually my first ever Manic Panic dye, because I’m getting used to  Arctic Fox :))) which is why I’m so hyped to try it on! However, after applying it all over my hair. It didn’t seem to show off the color from their sample pic, regardless that I already have light hair and with purple tones.

See, it’s like nothing happened at all except that I washed and combed my hair after. And the odd part is, it doesn’t work on Blonde.

Yes I had leftover streaks of blonde before applying. I’ve also searched other’s review about it. Check out GeekGirl Finds’ Video

Maybe the solution to this is maybe tone your hair Purple first. Not too much I guess, something that’s enough to blend with this product. I’d love a ashy purplish hair color, something you’d usually see on a character from Square Enix  ; v ; example Rem

What happened to my result was, it had a bit of gray ash brown? Since I already have a purple tone. Well it’s a good try!  I hope this info helped you! for the curious one like me :D Special thanks to my Boyfriend who patiently helped me apply the dye all over my hair this time

Arctic Fox: Transylvania and Periwinkle REVIEW

2 products in one review! I've been dyeing my hair with vibrant colors just last 2016, I usually just play around with shades of brown to black but then I took the step to try on fancy colors!

Last year I use powder/cream dyes like Epsa and Verdon, where you have to mix it in with an oxidizer/oxidizing milk. They’re not that bad though, its just that it keeps my hair look a bit dry and it damages my hair little by little. Just this year (2017) I started using Arctic Fox I've heard a lot of nice feedback about it and it DOES smell great. To know more facts about Arctic Fox, click here!

Here I'll show you my first review of their product (Transylvania + Periwinkle)

To achieve the color in the pic above^ You MUST pre-lightened your hair, by all means...bleach it first.

I tried applying Arctic fox: Transylvania on my hair with a less lighter shade and it kinda didn't turn out what I thought it would be, though it IS their black dye with blue base. Here's what you can expect when you apply it on light brown hair.

So I suggest you should really lighten your hair for the color to stand out more :) After waiting for it to fade, and applied bleach on my hair again after a few months. That is where I tried on Arctic Fox: Periwinkle.  I’ve been itching to try the combination of Gray and Light Blue, but I failed Gray/Silver fades faster than the colored ones. So! Shades of Blue it is!

This mix consists of: 50%  Conditioner 45%  Arctic Fox: Periwinkle  5%  Arctic Fox: Transylvania (For an ombre/Gradient effect, I applied purely Transylvania only on the bottom half part of my hair) Yes I know I should’ve just bought Arctic Fox: Poseidon. But Periwinkle was my first choice, change of plans I guess hehe. Also, I’ve put conditioner to add volume into the mix. And conditioners can also serve as a Pastelizer(lol wat?). Whenever my mix becomes a bit too dark, I add some local conditioner to lighten it up :) So here’s a Before and After pic
