Often in movies, time flies. It literally flies and all the hardships have passed already. The people in the movies are getting on with their lives and have new stories, new problems but the YEARS of difficulty are behind them. Ever had a feeling of having that in your life? I don't know if it makes sense but what if there was a possibility of getting to the desired future having to look back to the present as the past involving struggle, effort, difficulties, heart ache and days spent waiting, desiring and dreaming of the future you have today. You can think of things like these in two circumstances. Firstly, when you are too desperate for the time to pass for you to be able to be where you want to be and secondly, you are in a lot of pain. If ever you have thought of this and because of which ever reason, I pray that it gets better. It's appeasing to think that one day it will be behind you, one day you will be there, one day the pain will be a mere memory and one day you will be triumphant.

Post # 1 Day 6- Obsessions. I couldn't put a finger on something I was obsessed about. I love a lot of things but I wasn't sure if anything was loved to the point of an obsession. Being a psychology student, the extreme that come into my head on hearing the word obsessions aren't healthy. So, I tried looking and thinking about things that I love. I realized that I love a lot of things. I love books and collecting souvenirs, I love adventures that fill my soul and people I can have a conversation with, I love exploring places with some people (you can find them in one of these posts), I love talking to my fatima (we talk almost everyday), I love waffles and pancakes, I adore people who take care of themselves physically, emotionally and mentally and love doing it for myself, I am stunned by the beauty of flowers, clouds, sunsets and absolutely everything present around us, I love working on myself to be better than yesterday, I love growth and appreciate doing things for this, I love capturing people while they are taking photos and I love the same being done for me, getting into fountains (be it a dry one or one with water) is something I can't resist like a compulsion (psychology reference again), I absolutely fall for all of these things and much more. These are the things that make my soul contented. They make me smile as bright as the sun ❤ #photographyChallenge #Day6 #obsessions #30days

When slowly you start working on yourself and you invest your energy and time in things you have always wanted to do, days seem to be more meaningful. It comes in and settles so subtly, at times, that you don't feel accomplished and you fail to focus on the bigger picture. You become less appreciative of yourself untill that fleeting reflection sinks in. The intense realization that you have been growing everyday, working on yourself and moving forward. It's a powerful thing to have that awareness. In the absence of the light, you are not grateful because you don't point it out to be something extraordinary. Spend time with yourself. I find myself telling people this over and over again. Take out time for yourself. Focus on yourself. Find things to find your way back to yourself. Figure out ways that make you happy and facilitate your connection with yourself. Be it reading, poetry, photography, writing, talking, journaling, sketching, coloring, traveling, exploring, learning new skills. It could be anything but do it. Spend time with yourself. Take out time for yourself. Notice what's happening. Make a note of what you are doing for yourself. Tm ho to dunia hai. #WorkingTowardsABetterSelf
