Q: What is this?

A: this is my blog where i’ll be sharing updates related to my oc story that im aiming to turn into a game!

Q: What kind of game?

A: DIAGNOSTECH aims to be a visual novel-sequel computer game that utilizes the keyboard and mouse for various puzzles!

Q: What’s it about?

DIAGNOSTECH follows the story of Emma Yarrow, a tech-whiz and founder of an independent business that repairs and diagnoses people’s technology, similarly to a doctor treating their patients! She works with her robot partner AIDA, the Artificially Intelligent Diagnostic Android, who’s equipped with adaptive learning technology and various tools in her hands.

Q: When’s the release date?

A: no clue! i’m a complete newbie when it comes to coding and game development, but i’d like to have a demo completed within the next few years..right now, DIAGNOSTECH is in a very nebulous state, so i plan to change up a lot of things as i go about making it. anything stated on this blog is subject to change, so don’t worry too much about spoilers!

WAIT CAN YOU ELABORATE ON THE THEOFOLD THING? THIS IS AN AGE OLD MYSTERY THAT IVE BEEN LOOKING TO SOLVE FOR AGES LIKE GENUINELY WHERE DID THAT COME FROM. WHERE DID IT GET CONFIRMED A HOAX IM SO CURIOUS /GEN

from what i can gather the “theofold” rumour started from this video from 4 years ago! one of the speakers reads off information they got from an anonymous tip who stated that the craftsman had a given name..however, they clarified in the pinned comment that this was a misunderstanding, and the origami craftsman does not have a given name other than well. The Origami Craftsman LOL (link should be timestamped to when it’s brought up!)

he was unfortunately folded british and with a hate for paradise punch lemonade (ok!olly wasn't folded with his crown- olivia made it for him a few weeks into their life. The craftsman was disappointed in this because he wanted to "coronate" him himself.)

So I've been playing a game called Mindhack and true to its name it's been doing things to my brain. It's so cool and I need more (the music?! the story?! the INCREDIBLY smooth hand animation?!?), but there's just not enough of it out right now... so I drew Kieran as one of the characters to cope, as you do :)

hey i made a silly "dating" sim in renpy for valentine's day, where you get to hang out with my four terrаria ocs, platonically.

if you were interested in getting to know my characters better, you might as well play this. the game is short, and can be completed in under an hour, or 30 minutes, depending on your reading speed.
