hey friends, so unfortunately the time has come to close axed. i had a whole overarching plot i was very excited to play out but i was far too busy ooc and i didn’t have the time i would’ve needed to help this place fully flourish. however, i have a hard time letting go so don’t think this is the last time you’ll see axed in the tags! hopefully things will shake out better next time. please don’t steal the plot, but feel free to continuing using the dash if you’d like. i really enjoyed our time together and hope we can write together, here or in another place, very soon! see you next time, slasher fans!

okay now i have to go to bed!! i’ve got to take one of the dogs to the vet tomorrow (and then take the other dog to the vet on monday lol) and do some grocery shopping so i shall go to bed at a respectable time! look at me being an adult. i’ve posted our first plot drop which means we’re gearing up for some slasher fun, come join us!

PLOT DROP 001: the rustling through the leaves,

the woods can be the loneliest place in the world, and yet you never feel truly alone. now, you’re not alone. now, there’s someone there with you, and they’re watching. they’re watching you very closely, but you can only see them in the corner of your eye, if you can even see them at all. people have been talking about some local hooligans peeping into windows at night and stealing little trinkets here and there, but this is something different. it’s only just begun. the sheriff’s department has officially warned the crescent lake citizens that someone is out there, breaking and entering, looking into windows at night, and to be on the lookout for suspicious behavior, but little do they know we’re the ones being watched.

basically, the town has now become aware that someone is causing general mischief around the town: breaking and entering (but only stealing unimportant knickknacks), looking into windows, and lurking around. the mysterious figure has been seen on the outskirts of town, ducking into the treeline before anyone can make heads or tails of them.

this plot drop is just to get the ball rolling and subsequent ones will be more involved; you don’t have to mention the plot drop in your current threads and it’s not mandatory to be mentioned in new starters, but you’re free to incorporate it into any new/existing threads!
