In a diverse workplace different employees have different methods of problem solving in the common workplace they all work together with a commitment and maintain the smooth flow of business with their different educational and professional skills which results to more effective and efficient products. In addition, it is hard for every business to maintain competitive edge, if a business have employees of different cultures who were enable to speak and understand multi-cultural languages then they can attract more customers and diverse employees can rise above the competition. In this way diverse workforce act as an asset for the company. Furthermore, employees with diverse background have different hardware, software and other technological skills which help the business to upgrade in a more smart way. The diverse workplace give business unique problem solving skills and enable business to serve their customer better. (Rodriguez-Zaba, 2017) To provide example, Novartis, the famous pharmaceuticals industry believes that, “Diversity is integral to their success”. (McSweeney, 2016).Diverse workplace also make the decision making process of the company much easier as when the employees from different background come together they come up with more solutions and ideas which not only make the decision making process easy but also give company a serious advantage over the competitors. It is proved by a research that the company with more diversity achieve greater profits as the McKinsey & company (a global management consulting firm) which include 180 companies in France, German ,United kingdom and United states are the top financial performers and this company has also the most diverse workforce (Martic, 2018).
 Strategies for Achieving a more Diverse and Productive work Environment

For promoting a healthy environment of relationship and friendship among employees organization should focus on creating schedule activities outside the work which encourage communication among employees. Company should organization special orientation or training so that the employees should be able to understand the responsibilities of a diverse workplace and also become familiar with the environment of diverse workplace. By this training practice they become more aware of their responsibilities and they also become more satisfied with their work. Moreover, business should get employees participation in hiring new talent and ask for the referrals, this will develop the sense of responsibility and ownership among employees and the employees will become more loyal towards their business. Business should clear the line of communication among employees by improving the channels of communication so that the employees can communicate with each other without any communication barrier (Henderson, 2017). The policies of the organization should be diversity friendly, the owners should allow the employees to take off work on their religious celebrations which is not officially observed by the business. Offering on-site day care, increase the flexibility of the working hours , offering religious holidays are some examples of the policies that business can add in practice to make feel their diverse workforce more comfortable at the workplace this will create a more diverse and productive environment as well. If the location of business is at the several states then the company should give chance to the employees to visit the other locations of different states, city and country (Grossmann, 2018)

Lack of acceptance among employees create conflicts and these conflict may turn into a serious situation of violence. If employees accept that they a different from each other in the way of culture, norms, ideas then the lack of acceptance and respect may arise. This may also effect the working of the business. In a diverse work place employees have different norms, beliefs, ides, spiritual beliefs etc. so employees should put into concern that they cannot impose their personal beliefs on other employees in order to prevent workplace disputes. They should not allow their personal beliefs to affect their working environment. Ethnic and behavioral issues may also effect the working of the workplace, as according to the study conducted by the university of Wisconsin, “people with African and American sounding name are 14% less likely to get a call back”. There are still some individuals who hold the prejudice against people who have different ethnic values, culture, religion which shows that the discrimination regarding culture is still present in the mind of some individuals. According to a recent study conducted, “Men earns 24.1% higher base pay than women”. In the past years women were paying less than the men but the “Equal pay Act” has changed the system. Business should prevent gender discrimination and maintain equality regarding sex, gender, salary, promotion, benefits etc. language and communication barrier are the big issue in the diverse workplace. For example, often US and UK companies hire employees whose first tongue is not English so these employees sometime found difficulty in receiving the message. This may cause productivity loss and miscommunication among employees (this way, 2019)
 and countries. And also allow the employees to arrange both work based activities and external employee engagement outing (Grossmann, 2018).

In this 21st century, the world is submerged in wide range of demographic trend which have the potential to change the demographic, cultural and ethical mixtures of population in many countries within just few decades. Good managers often say that their employee are the assets of their company. Diversity tells us about the aspects in which individual is differ from one another. Differ in the sense of gender, age, religion, sex, background, ethnicity, as well as less visible personal characteristics such as competencies, work style, character trait. Each individual is unique in his own way. Diversity is creating a high performing organization through valuing and using all talent of employees of different group. Successful organizations that stress on having a diverse workforce environment have proved that people learn to channel their differences and make them their strength. In a way diversity is all about differences and these differences are the key strength of the organization to carry out the task with uniqueness and effectively. Diversity could be the assets or liability to the organization. Workforce diversity is a strategic process to
 manage the diverse workforce. Usually managed by supervisors and HR professionals. The idea of management style is to make the employees comfortable with diversity or the people around them from different background and to give them some time and space to get into a friendly and good relationship with each other. Promoting the reorganization and acceptance of each other can convert a hostile environment into a welcoming environment where people free to communicate and also feel free to exchange their ideas to meet the requirements. Doing so help the organization to increase their productivity level. The great and the living example we could have for workforce diversity is amazon. Amazon is well established organization with diversity of workforce, they hire employees from different background and religion and unite them all to work together. (Hub, n.d.)

Leader need acquired diversity to establish a culture where all employees feel free to contribute ideas. Ensuring that everyone is heard, making it safe to propose ideas, giving the authority of decision- making to the team members, giving a motivational feedback, sharing credit success.
Ways are:
·       FINDING A DEEPER TALENT POOL:
It could be possible by recruiting entry- level workers from colleges, or the seasonal talent from other few companies like your own. Take veterans, they offer bucket of experience which provide leadership skills more than the make up for the time you will spend training them on your proprietary software.
·       PROMOTE DIVERSITY AS PART OF YOUR IDENTITY:
Encourage the new to come pounding on your door by making your organization know as one of the advocates for diversity. Provide internship opportunity to the candidate outside the hiring event. Make sure to be attentive and active on the social media as social media is the strongest source to reach out to the candidate in large number and to attract them.
·       HOLD YOUR STAFF ACCOUNTABLE:
Assign a person to be in charge of the efforts. Have resources to have a dedicated diversity program manager, or can roll it into the job description of the existing employee. Make someone responsible for planning the hiring event and keeping tabs on your diversity goals and also to take feedback from your staff, how they feel about your efforts. (Hall, 2017)
·       SHARE THE DECISION MAKING- PROCESS:
This is the most effective and the easiest way to increase or improve the workforce diversity. During the hiring process create a decision- making team for example employee from HR department and high-performance employee to carry out decision for the organization in the better way and for the good sake of the organization. Together both the employees will overcome the problem and issues coming their way with efficiency and effectively (Hicks, 2017).
 CHALLENGES OF WORKFORCE DIVERSITY

Diversity is the hot word taking the modern working on the storm. Diverse perspective, experience, and skills are invaluable to the growth and the success of any organization. Although creating an environment of diversity and inclusion is preached, it can be difficult to put into practice.
Challenges are:
·       ETHNIC AND CULTURAL DIFFERENCES:
Unfortunately, there are some individuals who do unfair prejudices against the people who does not belong to their community, who come from different background, religion, race. This kind of the intolerance must not be accepted in the workforce environment.  
 ·       DIFFERENCES IN LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION:
It is difficult in the workplace where different people from different background work together in terms of communication. Although the most common language spoken is English, but people have different accent of language.
·       RESPECTING AND ACCEPTING THE DIFFERENCES OF OTHERS:
The major issue arises in the workforce is dealing with the social and cultural differences. For an example it could be refusal from an employee or the manager for granting them holiday for their religious belief or an occasion. It could also be discrimination between a gay or a lesbian.
SOLUTION TO THE CHALLENGES IN WORKFORCE ARE:
·       DEVELOPING GOOD RELATION IN THE ORGANIZATION:
It is important for the employee to develop a good relationship in the organization in order to create a good environment in the workplace. Employees should respect and accept each other religion and religious belief. This would help the individual to grow as personality.
·       PROVIDING EMPLOYEE DIVERSITY TRAINING:
Training ca benefit the organization in different ways such as increasing productivity, retention and engagement. It gives opportunity to the employees to mentor each other and collaborate and work with together on daily tasks and a better understanding. This a great way to bridge the gap and maintain good relation (diversity in workplace:4 common challenges, 2018).
