Doogee n10 review
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hi guys I wanted to bring you a review today of the competitively priced doogee n10 smartphone that I purchased with my own money so this is a completely unbiased review of this product.. does this device compete against flagship devices or does it fall short? keep reading to find out guys!
The packaging this phone came in was pretty much a plain blue box so nothing much to look at but let's face it we don't buy a phone for the box do we? Upon opening the box you are greeted with the rather elegant doogee n10, A charger which is a standard usb charging port which maybe could be a slight gripe to some people as a lot of gadgets being brought out now come equipped with a type c charging port but that doesn't affect the functionality of the device and they was also kind enough to include a silicone case for the phone which I thought was a nice touch...
Now on to the phone itself,
I was shocked how light the phone is when picking it up weighing in at just 180g but the phone still felt sturdy in the hand and didn't feel cheap which a lot of budget lightweight phones tend to feel cheap, The handset comes equipped with a whopping 3gb ram on board which shocked me to be honest especially for the phones price tag! The phone isn't on the small side either it has a generous 5.8inch screen which is an absolute treat to game on and watch your favourite tv shows.
Operating system and storage
The device has a cortex a55 processor on board and comes equipped with Oreo android operating system out of the box which whilst using the phone there was no speed or lag related issues and seemed to handle multitasking just fine, The built in storage on the device was a generous 32gb with the option to install your own micro Sd memory card which will increase your storage further but out of the box having 32gb onboard storage would be sufficient for a lot of people and will allow the user to download a fair few apps without having to worry about running out of storage.
Battery and camera
The device has a built in 3360mah lion battery which for a medium to heavy user will easily last all day without worrying about your phone dying on you, The device has a 16mp back camera and a 13mp front facing camera which for someone like me that heavily depends on the front facing camera for keeping in touch with friends and family it done an outstanding job and the rear 16mp camera took some surprisingly nice and crisp pictures.
Gaming test
This is pretty much a deal breaker for me when it comes to phones as I travel a lot and play games a fair bit so did it hold up?.....
YES....On the device I installed player unknowns battlegrounds, crossy road and dead trigger which all games was handled well on this device with no noticeable lag or frame drops so it pleasantly surprised me to say the least. I think the decent processor and 3gb ram really helped this device hold up and was a treat to game on.
Final Verdict
The phone excelled my expectations and beyond and to be honest if more phones like this with these sort of specs for the price tag of between £50-£70 why would you need to spend out hundreds of pounds on phones when a phone this cheap does so well? oh I almost forgot to mention this phone also comes with a rear fingerprint scanner.... what else could you want guys. I highly recommend this phone guys and for the low price try it for yourselves guys I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
pros
* Sturdy built phone
* Decent processor and ram (3gb)
* Decent front and rear cameras
* Fingerprint scanner on rear
* Multitasks and handles games extremely well
cons
* No headphones in the box
Seriously guys that's all I could think of for cons.
Well done doogee, I hope to see more devices like this from you guys in the near future and I look forward to using them 😉
