Highlights of my first job which was a hospitality job. First, I learned a TON. I learned the importance of teamwork, communication, verifying information, integrity, and above all how to stay motivated. It was a ROUGH first job and required lots of physical labor and at the end of the day I was always exhausted. However, I met some of the greatest people there many of the co-workers ended up becoming good friends of mine. I got to make friends from all over the world and that’s not an exaggeration. I made friends from Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America, Australia. When I became supervisor and in charge of my own sets I eventually got to do events for some of the biggest names in the world which I won’t mention but you can imagine 😉. I will always consider that place my second home and it holds a special place in my heart.

As the sun set in Key West, I realized I’m better off without you. Somehow, after all your infidelity, your lies, and manipulation, it still hurt to move on. You were my first love, my first everything—you had become a part of me. So when the time came to let go, it took longer than I expected. But I finally managed. My friends and family surrounded me with the love and care I needed, and eventually, I took a trip to Key West to treat myself. It was there, watching that beautiful sunset, that I knew I didn’t need you to feel whole anymore. Fast forward, I fell in love again, found a good paying career, graduated top of my class, and above all I’m happy.
