It’s been busy, but I finally got some of these Star Trek alien redesigns done! I’m also working on cardassians, but I’m totally happy with their look yet…

Vulcans: A heavily desert-adapted species who have dedicated themselves to logic and reason. They are ectothermic facultative omnivores, though most prefer a vegetarian diet. Adult individuals grow large bony spurs on their hind limbs and have a specialized talon on one of their four fingers (a remnant from their more conflict prone ancestry and shared with the closely related ((but more robustly built)) Romulans).

Bajorans: Small generalist carnivores with an old and rich culture. Often described by humans as cat-like in both appearance and general temperament. They are fast runners who can find a target even in complete darkness, but are very poor jumpers and climbers.

Trills: Semi-aquatic omnivores with tough keratin exoskeletons and jaws. They have large feathery gills on the sides of their heads which can be retracted (hidden gills are often a sign of stress). A decentralized nervous system with multiple clusters helps coordinate the multiple sets of limbs and makes the merging with the symbionts possible. They make for excellent pilots and data processors.
