Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas

This was one of the newest and most amazing stadiums I had been too. Massive stairs to almost 80,000 seats and even a 7/11 out front this place was incredible.

Growing up in Kansas City, Missouri and going to a baseball games at Kauffman stadium it seemed very big, especially because it was typically empty. So when going to this indoor ball park that had more than 6 different tiers for seats had 30,000 people 2 weeks ago. It seemed like it was packed. For the 4 hours I was at this game. Life seemed to be back to normal for a few hours and it was peaceful.

Being around many people and being able to have conversation with strangers was something I missed and enjoy doing. Communicating with others and building connections in different places around the world make for good stories and better friends.

Being able to travel to other states and countries has helped develop communication skills with other cultures that I never would of learned from home.

After returning from vacation in Mexico it gives you an appreciation for the United States and where we grew up. Learning Spanish in school seemed pointless at the time but helped tremendously when traveling to Spanish speaking countries

This is clever marketing that can be appreciated. If something is well known enough in the area to sell other products then use it to your advantage. Being smart and thinking outside the box will keep you ahead of the competition in the job market and in business.

Coaching has taught me lesson that I didn’t understand as a player and I probably wouldn’t of ever understood unless I coached. Parents will do anything for their kids and they sacrifice a lot of time and money. When you are involved in sports life is easy and it goes fast. When it’s all over you just want to go back.

I never thought my final few years of school would be in such a crazy time of pandemics and presidents. Being a communication major I also took a lot of journalism classes and had the opportunity to stay in touch with the virus and news. From seeing other people in pain from COVID to having it myself, it’s been a scary time.

If you were looking to order local pizza on grub hub or any food delivery app you might of seen a company called Pasquallys Pizza. Pasquallys pizza was Chuck E. Cheese’s cover name they were using to bring in more customers during the pandemic. According to the NY post this was a marketing strategy to bring in more income for a business that was already struggling.

Missouri Western State University has been my home away from home the last two years. When I first started attending MWSU I didn't know anyone and didn't think I would ever care enough to go to a basketball game. Then I signed up for Newspaper and became a sports writer. Having a reason to go to games and talk to the players made it an even better experience. #MWSU #GoGriffs

As the NFL season comes to an end the Kansas City Chiefs fall to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With a devastating loss in the Super Bowl the Chiefs will look to bounce back next season. QB Patrick Mahomes is scheduled to have offseason toe surgery. Patrick’s fiancé Brittany is also due to have a baby girl sometime in February. The NFL will resume May 1 in Cleveland, Ohio for the 2021 NFL Draft.
