Game of Thrones S05x01 - The Wars to Come Mini Review- 7/10
Game of Thrones is the widely popular TV series based on the ongoing fantasy series of novels by George R.R. Martin. The fifth season was first broadcasted on 13/04/2015 on Sky Atlantic.
Pros:
• Giant Dragons - It was great to see the dragons return in all their colossal, fiery glory.
• Child Cersei - Seeing a flashback into what Cersei was like as a child was interesting at best.
Cons:
• Disappointing - Although it was still a great episode, as most Game of Thrones episodes are, I felt slightly disappointed in what could have been a great opening episode to a potentially amazing season.
• Slow - This is probably one of the main reasons why the episode was a let down. The start of a season should be action packed. Although there were some intense scenes, it felt as if nothing much was happening; it felt like a filler episode, which is never a good way to start a season, even if you already have a humongous fanbase and are five seasons in. However, the writers did have to continue straight on from the previous seasons and make sure everyone remembers what happened before, which was over a year ago, so maybe it’s a good thing that not much happened, just so everyone is ready for the later episodes.
• Weird Hugging Scene with the Unsullied Soldier - Although this was necessary for the rest of the plot, I did not think it was necessary to make the viewer watch an awkward scene involving a lot of cuddling. It would have been a lot easier just to mention what had happened in the brothel instead of showing it.

MusclePharm Arnold Schwarzenegger Series ARNOLD IRON Whey (Chocolate flavor) -6/10-
First off, I’m never really into buying celebrity endorsed/created products because often they are sub-par at best, and is no more than buying a name on a typical whey or other supplement. I am frankly displeased to say that this is no different. The low amount of 22 grams of protein per serving and high price due to the Arnold name being attached to the product make it not a great product. Also, the purity being at only around 68% protein is more than worrying, considering the huge price tag often attached to this product. The things that I do like about this product is the nice bright green scoop, which I now use for all my whey, and the amazing taste, texture and mix-ability of the product. However, I feel that they should have gone more for a raw quality product rather than a nice taste. So, overall, I feel that the product would be good if it had a more appropriate price tag, but with the overstated price I think that it is average at best.

Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey (Banana Cream) -8/10-
The banana cream flavor of this whey reminds me a lot of semen, and in a whey (Get it? Yeah, me neither) that's a good thing, because since the milk flavoring is actually bought for the taste, a whey protein tasting even remotely as good means that something has definitely gone well with the taste of the product. As far as the mixing ability goes, I always use a small blender rather that a shaker and semi-skimmed milk, so I cannot say as to how well it mixes but many of the people at my gym use different flavors of this product and all sing its praises as far as mixing goes (no lumps, etc). The nutritional values of the product aren't bad either, with 24 grams of protein per scoop, and with only around 3 carbohydrates (with some added sugar for taste, it amounts to around 90% protein). Overall, a quality whey, but not quite worthy of the ‘100%’ mark.

Daredevil (TV Series) -7/10-
Daredevil stars Charlie Cox as the blind crime fighter that we have all heard of from the Marvel Universe. The TV show (Developed by Netflix and Marvel) chronicles the founding of his law firm, and his rise as a superhero. I found this show both riveting and surprisingly gritty, as Marvel has been mostly tame with their films as of late because of the swelling numbers of young fans. However, daredevil needs the grit and the violence because the main is morally ambiguous at best, due to him breaking his oath” every night. The fact that the creator of the show chose to keep the grit and the darkness is nothing but a complement to the story as a whole, and has done nothing but improve the show in almost every way. However, the hand-to-hand combat in the show does not seem to be nearly as varied as I would have liked, as it seems to range from the classic ‘weak underlings’ to more skillful adversaries with nothing in between and with so many layers elsewhere, it is disappointing to see the lack of variation in the fight scenes. As a final verdict, I feel that the first season has been a strong, gritty and varied superhero/drama, and I look forward to the seasons to come, but also hope that they address the fighting styles/techniques in further development to complete a very promising show indeed.
