consider: ghoul summoning rituals that are traumatizing to the body. the papas giving pieces of themselves to prove they are worthy enough to have the souls damned into perdition to even consider serving them; spilling the blood and seed from their naked bodies to satisfy them, to give their scent to the freedom-starving ghouls in order to follow it into the mortal plane, all served on the backs of the papas who brought them back. papas who have scars along their bodies from the trauma of blood rituals, scaling across their backs and thighs, symbols carved into their blanched flesh. papas who get nauseous when they think back to their summoning, remembering the way that the world seemed to fade from them as the hounds of ghouls climbs their way back to earth through the mortal flesh and vessel of a fragile human being, all as other ministry members circled the papa, watching on in ordered silence. papas whose scars itch and burn even years later, papas who (shamefully) flashback to their summoning when they orgasm, papas who are irreversibly changed by the otherworldly sensations that once flowed through their body and the things they've witnessed as the ghouls re-birthed themselves, all while they once bordered on death
