am i the only one who never noticed how big Varian’s house is? it’s no palace but it’s like a small castle, or what’s left of a castle. the hut in front (and Varian’s raggedy clothes) always throw me off, but look at those high, double doors man. that stone staircase leading to the double doors. the arches in the water making a little moat. They even got a little boathouse to the left there I think! It’s a pretty sweet setup.

Varian’s bedroom’s in the top of the lower tower it looks like. See where the light is? And this deleted storyboard of his room blows my mind because he has so much stuff! It’s everywhere! Like this kid is definitely not poor, probably upper middle class, and he’s dressing like it now.

idk why this is so surprising to me considering there’s room for Varian to have a pretty big lab, all those science materials probably cost some serious money, and Quirin’s the village leader so of course he’s gonna make a good income, but. It is
