Sex & The Fetishista

Today is National Sex Day aka 69 Day! Believe me when I say that George Michael's "I Want Your Sex" has been on replay all day.

Yet would you believe if I said that I haven't always had a healthy relationship with sex and sexuality? Yes you've heard me correctly...your resident fetish model and erotic blogger hasn't always been comfortable with experiencing and witnessing sex. To this day I still haven't watched Rammstein's uncensored video for "Pussy".

Growing up I was raised in a household where we didn't get the infamous sex talk from our parents. They believed that sex was only meant for reproduction and not for pleasure. My first introduction to sex was being exposed to my father's Playboy magazines and softcore adult films/scenes on cable. This is what lead me down the path of learning about fetishes and kinks in the world of alternative lifestyles. It also led me down a path of body dysmorphia and a warped view of real sex vs fantasy. I lost my virginity in high school and became so engrossed in seeking validation through sex that I've lost count how many men I've been to bed with. I thought having sex meant I was respected and well liked. Unfortunately Madonna said it best..."until I learn to love myself, I'm never ever loving anybody else".

Since becoming a fetish model and erotic content creator, I've been blessed to become connected with others that exude pride in their sexuality and how they experience sex. Sex is not something to fear or have disdain for. It is natural and can be pleasurable. You can have fun and try new things, or you just keep it simple aka "vanilla". There's nothing with being safe and protecting yourself and your body. There's nothing wrong with being honest, communicating with your partner(s), and most importantly...there's nothing wrong with consent. Happy National Sex Day!!

Thunder & Thoughts

Its Wednesday night here in Seattle. It was 75 degrees and sunny today. Now its 60 degrees with rain and lightning. The thunder rolls in right after the lightning strikes. I'm sitting here in my thoughts again. Always in my thoughts. Always stressed out and tired. I need to get back to planning and executing my next fetish shoot. Hoping to do my first Shibari shoot next month. Wish I had more drive and less executive dysfunction. Nighty night!

Today is the last day of April. It is also the last day of Sexual Assault Awareness Month and another topic I can relate with...National Child Abuse Prevention Month. As a survivor of child abuse myself, I wanted to share my story. Unfortunately I do not have the energy to speak on it and drudge up old memories that will literally make me sick and unable to sleep. What I will say is that child abuse is not something to be ignored, dismissed, or justified. Children deserve respect and protection. We need to do better. Rest in peace to all the sweet angels who lost their lives due to abuse and neglect🌹
