hey guys doing this funny thing where I draw klance once for nostalgic purposes. I hope it doesn’t incite a year-long fixation or anything haha.

Space Roadtrip AU:

Going from the vastness of the castle to a cramped lion is an adjustment. They fight and get into each other's stuff and Keith insists on keeping up with training so he starts the morning by stinking up the place and Pidge spends all night click click clicking on her laptop and Hunk will wake up in the middle of the night inspired to work on a project and Lance doesn't shutup and it really really sucks.

But they figure it out.

They get a portable sonic shower so they don't have to wait till they're planet-side to wash. Lance uses tricks to force Pidge into a normal sleep cycle. Hunk learns to write down his ideas for the morning. They all learn to sit in silence on the longer stretches of space.

It's nice once they get their routine down. Even better when they come across a planet or swap moon they can explore, bringing back things to occupy themselves for the next leg of the journey.

And in the several months they're confined to that small space, they learn more about each other than in all the time they were on the Castleship.
