I see some of maxblr feeling down about max’s WDCs being somehow “tainted” by controversies that are out of his hands and absolutely not his fault. Girls, don’t even start.
Michael Schumacher’s first WDC was won by him colliding into Damon Hill in the final race of the season, both cars retiring and him winning the wdc by default. It was a very questionable move but the stewards deemed it a race incident and michael was awarded the championship, leaving part of the fans fuming and being vilified by the british media (rings any bells?). My guy was even dsq from the championship in 1997 because he tried the same move again with Villeneuve without success. He still is a 7 time world champion and the GOAT, no questions asked.
Before him, Prost took the championship by taking Senna out of the track in 1989 and in the next year Senna also took the championship by taking Prost out of the race, both of them in moves a bit sus to say the least.
My point is, people love to be history revisionists and pretend the heroes of the past were not cutthroat bitches and all involved in polemics of their own making. NOTHING about potential controversies in max’s WDCs (plural, because 2022 is his) is his fault. He was faster, he passed them, he won.
If you’re having a bad experience keeping up with f1 online I ask you for your own sake to consider leaving the internet a bit because that’s exactly what the losers want, for you to feel as bitter as them when you should be celebrating your little driver man winning and finding joy in a dumb sport. I promise you, in the real world hardly anyone cares. I go to pubs watch f1 all the time and people are not as brain rotted as the social media bravest warriors and no one is frothing at the mouth about their fave being robbed by the evil dutch boy and writing letters about it (if you’re british and this happens to you irl that’s your own fault for being born there. jk. or am I?).
Max had two amazing championship deciding years and will have many more to come, and anyone who knows a thing or two about formula 1 - you know, niki lauda, jenson button, fernando alonso - saw that. In the future these crazy internet people will be just, well, dead crazy internet people long forgotten and Max Verstappen will still be a legend.
#in light of everything#the fia is a joke YES but people genuinely discrediting max saying he doesn’t deserve his WDCs…… man#touch some grass#PLEASE#max verstappen

They're right, they could have had a terrible outcome because the FIA is really lazy with the safety that matters. They spend time harping on fire proof underwear and jewelry but when it comes to cranes on track where's that same energy? This shouldn't be happening especially after all this time

carlos saying he was terrified and in god's hands after stopping on that track, and the only thing charles fans can come up with is "so grateful that wasn't charles :)" how about having some goddamn human decency for once and either shutting the hell up or being grateful no one ran full speed into actual real life human being carloz sainz

the vehicle was already on track when verstappen went past, the whole pack drove past it under sc. some of them brought it up on the radio – leclerc said "guys what the fuck is this crane?", perez said "is it not clear that we don't want to see a crane on track?". gasly was catching up, the red flag only came up when he was already too close to it and couldn't do anything about it. now they make it about gasly going too fast when the issue is that that recovery vehicle shouldn't have been there in the first place while the cars were on track, especially in those conditions. even under sc, the cars are going 150 km/h. anyone could've had a snap or aquaplaning. vettel brought this issue up with them just last week and they still hide behind quibbles instead of taking responsibility and showing the drivers (and audience) that they are genuinely committed to ensuring safety. and to do this in suzuka of all places...
