Gast is described as having somewhat of a sister complex wrt Sarah (and Yvette and Rill) and while I know that most -cons tend to be taken the sexual/predatory way, does he really have feelings for his own sister like that? Or is it more of an obsessive overprotectiveness or clinginess?

Well--first of all, the "siscon" label was applied cheekily in creator commentary, so I don't think we're supposed to take it 100% seriously in the first place (like "haha, I'm surprised he has descendants since he was so obsessed with his sister").

Secondly, the usage of "siscon" is not a concrete statement that he had romantic/sexual feelings for his sister, no. It just means that he was obsessed with her, which--he is. He lives in eternal regret that she died when he was 12, and felt that she was all he had, his sole source of companionship. This is just the flat text of his character. As for whether or not his feelings trended towards the incestuous, that's really more up to interpretation, I think. He does have that narrator statement where he acknowledges his feelings as "warped" and that he "longs" for her, but remember that Yvette had the Venom Sword on her at the time he thought this, so it's possible this doesn't reflect the feelings he had before Sarah's death (though, it's worth pointing out he grew up using the sword too, so it could have had any number of effects on his mind).
