“Mmm...I’ve got about a week’s vacation time coming up, maybe we can go camping?” Mirage said, earning an excited squeak from Summer. 

"Oh crap!" Summer squeaked, running to Bee. "Dad what happened?" She moved to help him up as she continued. "Come on let's get you to base so we can figure out what's going on."

Bee stared at the blood on his hand, blinking in confusion. He didn’t know what was wrong. His throat just hurt suddenly and he couldn’t stop coughing. He hadn’t expected Summer to walk in either so he looked up at her in surprise, nodding slowly.

“I fixed Dad’s voice!” Summer giggled, running over and hugging him around the neck. “Granted he has to take it easy or else it’ll glitch again, but I did it!”

"Evac!" Have an all-grown-up Summer practically bouncing into the hangar. "Evac I did it!"

“You found the cure to why I can’t get my recruits to do shite in the summer months?” Evac is on the floor again, but he smiles at her and reaches a servo to usher her over so he can give her a hug. “C'mere. What did you do?”

“Me too,” Mirage said with a smile, only looking up when she came back in. “So I think once you’re cleared to leave, we should go celebrate somewhere.”

"Oh crap!" Summer squeaked, running to Bee. "Dad what happened?" She moved to help him up as she continued. "Come on let's get you to base so we can figure out what's going on."

Bee stared at the blood on his hand, blinking in confusion. He didn’t know what was wrong. His throat just hurt suddenly and he couldn’t stop coughing. He hadn’t expected Summer to walk in either so he looked up at her in surprise, nodding slowly.

“A little, but I knew she could do it,” Mirage smiled, pecking Bee’s cheek while Summer slipped out for a bit to drop off the medical report. 

"Oh crap!" Summer squeaked, running to Bee. "Dad what happened?" She moved to help him up as she continued. "Come on let's get you to base so we can figure out what's going on."

Bee stared at the blood on his hand, blinking in confusion. He didn’t know what was wrong. His throat just hurt suddenly and he couldn’t stop coughing. He hadn’t expected Summer to walk in either so he looked up at her in surprise, nodding slowly.

“I’m proud of you baby girl,” Mirage said, pecking his eldest daughter on the forehead before going to sit next to Bee. “Hey...” he said softly. 

“Papa out of my chair!” Summer giggled. 

"Oh crap!" Summer squeaked, running to Bee. "Dad what happened?" She moved to help him up as she continued. "Come on let's get you to base so we can figure out what's going on."

Summer went to get some aspirin then brought it and a glass of water over. “Here you go,” she said, looking up as Mirage walked in. “Papa I did it!” she squealed, giving him a hug. 

"Oh crap!" Summer squeaked, running to Bee. "Dad what happened?" She moved to help him up as she continued. "Come on let's get you to base so we can figure out what's going on."

Rest in Peace, Sir Christopher Lee (1922 - 2015).

He was one of the most talented and charismatic actors ever to walk this Earth and certainly also one of the most prolific, having built a career that spanned over seventy years. His life was long, his work was legendary, and, somehow, in the midst of it all, he was even kind enough to grace this goofy little video game series with his incredible voice. He is missed. And will always be remembered.

“Just have to be careful,” she said as she sat back. “Something might mess it up if you aren’t.”

Summer couldn’t help but giggle before leaning in to give him a hug. “Told you I could do it.”

Looking up from her report that she was working on, Summer blinked. It worked? Standing up, she handed her report off to one of her assistants and walked over. “Dad I think it worked.”

Summer flopped back in her chair and spent the rest of the time while Bee slept working on the report while talking with everyone who’d helped her.

“Well try to go back to sleep and we’ll try it out when you’re more awake, okay?” Summer said, pulling her desk chair over and sitting in it.

“How you feeling?” she said, brushing his hair back. “Besides the obvious I mean.”

“Hey Dad,” Summer said, moving to the side of the bed with a smile, while deep down she was praying to Primus and every deity she could think of on this world that it worked.

After what seemed like most of the night, the surgery was finally finished. As she was cleaning up, Summer looked worriedly over at Bee, wondering when he was going to wake up.

“Love you Dad,” Summer whispered, pecking his forehead before injecting him with the sedative to put him under.
