Every common autistic trait that someone might consider "an advantage" likely also comes in more disabling forms that definitely can't be described as such. Like having a special interest can absolutely be a positive thing, but it can also restrict your ability to engage with anything else to a degree that severely impacts your life. And questioning social norms absolutely can be a good thing, but it can also mean that no part of social interaction makes any sense to you. I'm not saying that there aren't situations where certain autistic traits can be an advantage, just that there are certainly also situations where they aren't positive

i don't know who is telling you this but our society is not what makes autism a disability. if we reformed the education system and became socialist autism would still be a disability. current society does not help but like. overthrowing capitalism will not magically make me able to eat vegetables
