Look who actually finished spinning a skein of yarn! It’s inconsistent and underplied but it’s yarn and it’s pretty
Now if only I could work on my actual project spins…

My hand hurts but the chart is done, might not keep the heart
This week was horrible! I'm going to take a nice hot shower and pull out the pride colorway yarns ive been hesitant to use and make something

In the name of fall, I'd like to introduce you all to my moon phase scarf pattern, Evoluding. It is a 30 stitch wide illusion scarf which just means that it looks like a striped scarf when you're facing it but when viewed at an angle, a picture is revealed
Using only basic knits, purls, and striping colourwork, this pattern is available on my Ravelry for $10

And it's done!! My first knitted wool hat! Took me months, like, six or seven months, I struggled at first, there's some bumps but no holes, and ultimately I'm so proud of and impressed by myself!
This one is a gift for my father. Next, another hat, for my mother this time. I had already started it but I think I need to undo it and start over because there's a lot of twisted stitches.
Oh, and. Yeah. My face too.

WIP Wednesday
This week I'm working on a test knit for the Studen Beanie by Magdalena L. Okroj, which is a 1×1 ribbed beanie with some interesting decreases at the top for what should be a smoother/less visible decrease section. I'm super excited to be taking part in this test knit!

I've knit a cropped short-sleeved cardigan, using wool yarn, wooden buttons, and a pattern from 1956! I really enjoyed making it, and it's super comfortable.

I’ve started the pattern Fritillary in this yarn. 1200 yards of what I think is 100% superwash merino. I’m not sure, the tags are all in German.
I’m doing the pattern without the beads. I have only so much energy and time these days; even trying a pattern I have never touched before feels dangerously bold right now.
We’ll see. We’ll see.

Eeeeeeeeeee! Look what arrived yesterday! The largest fibre order I have EVER made and the currency conversion was horrific, but these colour ways are just. so. gorgeous! I have no regrets. Fibres are handdyed by Fossil Fibres.
