The last year

About one year ago, I published my first novel, "Alpha knows best" through Blushing Books, and I couldn’t be happier. The feedback I got and the opportunity to actually make some money with the thing I love most are awesome. Writing and storytelling has been my passion since childhood and none of this would have been possible without the support I received from people who fell in love with my books on AO3 and encouraged me to keep writing and pursue my goals.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. If I could hug each and every one of you, I would.

Time to vent a little because I can't trust anyone but the anonymous void of the internet.

No writing content, just a slice of life.

Do you know the feeling when you started new at a company and you try to avoid every little thing that might make you seem unfriendly or bitchy in everyone's eyes and then one offhanded comment is just that thing that makes you seem unfriendly and bitchy to *everyone*?

Well, I do, and I wish the earth would swallow me whole, I get super sick and needed to go home NOW or any other scenario that would aid me in getting out of here for today. But unfortunately, I am an adult with adult responsibilities, and my need for money exceeds my need for a hole in the ground to hide my face in.

The greatest thing about being on vacation is that all the energy I usually have to spend on my day job can finally be used for my passion again.

I have written 5k words over the last two days on a long forgotten WIP and I can honestly say that I haven't felt this productive in a long time.

It’s the time of year again!

As we settle into the swing of 2021 and set our true writing goals for the year, different organizations hold events like NaNoWriMo and CAMP NaNoWriMo to help us reach them. April’s is coming up, and we’re holding a few related events on Tripping the Write Fantastic!

Firstly, in March: we’re holding a preparation event! For the entire month of March, hop into our March Blitz channel and talk with others who are planning on participating come April.

Don’t feel like preparing? That’s fine! In April, we’re hosting something of a server write-off to see which team can write the most words during Camp NaNo. Use this time to set your goals and get your writing brain into gear for the rest of the year!

We’re still figuring out deadlines for entries, but please make sure that if you’re interested, you join us and get your name on that Camp list as soon as you’re able.

2021 Plans

Hello everyone,

I know I have been pretty silent on here for a while now. I just want to let you know that I am doing fine. I have been very fortunate that I have been healthy and hardly affected by the pandemic.

I am working full time now and thus I have been a little short on time working on my writing. I managed to finish a book in 2020 and had been planning to publish it on Amazon kindle two months ago. But life is life and it got in the way.

My plan for 2021 is to write another omegaverse book and have the 2020 book published before the year is over. Those will be/are stand alone works and not related with the work published on my AO3 page, meaning they have no connection to the Flint series.

I hope you are all doing well and stay healthy, overcome the anxiety the pandemic puts many of us under and find happiness and friends in real life and online like I have been lucky enough in the last year.

Thank you @wichols and @ohshcscenerios you have been such a great support for me in 2020.
