I think people tend to forget the memory span of a small child when this is brought up, bc Vi was maybe like 7 or 8 when her parents died, and she's 15 in act 1..

I mean this in a teasing, lighthearted way, but y'all expecting Vi to remember Silco after almost 10 years remind me of family gatherings where this person you've never seen before comes up to you like "Oh do you remember me?? I used to watch you every weekend!!" and you just have to awkwardly stand there bc you have no idea who this person is

After learning what we did in blisters and bedrock, i’m confused. How does Vi not recognize Silco when she sees him at the cannery? How does Silco not recognize her? Or Powder?

Even if Vander was more hands on with the kids while Silco did the bookwork in his office, they were both close friends with Felicia, and she absolutely would’ve brought her children around to see them. Vander and Silco’s falling out was only after Felicia died, when the children were old enough to at least have a few memories of him, so I can’t reconcile there being no recognition on Silco or the children’s parts.

The only way it makes sense is if Felicia and Silco drifted apart while she stayed close to Vander? Idk. Let me know what you think!!

after talking with robyn this morning, and thinking more about this scene yesterday

i actually am starting to think vi and jinx's mom was two timing her dad with silco and vander bc check this out

the similarities are kind of insane when you think about it. especially when you see what their mother looks like bc...jinx truly looks like a combination of the two of them

the similarities between vander and vi aren't as stark

but when you compare them with how their mother looks above, i can see how vander + their mom = vi

i'm not sure i actually believe this is what the writers intended, but it is interesting.
