PROLOGUE - AURORA'S HEIR

Once upon a time, there were three unclaimed lands with no one to rule over them. To bring order, the Universe summoned three gods: Magnus, Nytheris, and Solari.

Nytheris was gifted a land brimming with magic and fertile soil. Solari received a land teeming with mythical creatures and dragons. Magnus, however, was given the largest expanse of land—but it was barren, withering, and on the brink of destruction.

Bewildered and indignant, Magnus demanded more. He believed the size of his land alone was insufficient compensation. In response, the Universe granted him the Seasonal Oracle—a square-shaped artifact with the power to control the seasons. Determined to transform his land, Magnus divided the seasons and spread them across the vast terrain.

Thus, Tetralyss was born: Four Kingdoms of Seasons.

The Kingdom of Verdelis: the Spring Kingdom.

The Kingdom of Ardenthia: the Summer Kingdom.

The Kingdom of Ravenswood: the Autumn Kingdom.

The Kingdom of Avrivinter: the Winter Kingdom.

Each kingdom was entrusted with an orb tied to its season—a precious artifact they swore to protect at all costs. Yet, the Seasonal Oracle was not the only thing Magnus created. He decreed the formation of the Treaty of Second Heirs.

The treaty mandated that each kingdom surrender its second-born heir to the kingdom of the ascending season. Spring's second heir would be sent to the Summer Kingdom, Summer's to the Autumn Kingdom, and so forth in a never-ending cycle.

But what happens when this rule is twisted and manipulated?

Quick Introduction

Hello everyone, my name is Ana, and this blog will mostly include my new story called "Aurora's Heir". As the weeks go by, I will be including a character list, prologue, and the first chapter. I have always wanted to publish my own book, I wrote on Wattpad from the ages 13-18 and I will also be publishing Aurora's Heir there too if that reading style is best suited for you.

This new novel will follow a story of a princess who is isolated from the rest of the outside world and will find ways to change the course of her fate.

The books/media I got inspired by was the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas, as well as the ACOTAR books, Snow White, The Apothecary Diaries (anime), and the album, The Tortured Poets Department by Taylor Swift.
