| Il Dottore Headcanons (trans reader).

If you're close, he thanks you for trusting him and shows his full support, asking if you're interested in a physical transition and offering to explain each and every option in great detail. Will still show himself supportive even if you're not close, although in a more clinical way.

+ 100% the one to perform any surgeries and prepare any necessary hormones, as well as an appropriate dose (to his standards) of pain and sleep medication so you recover as quickly and comfortably as possible.

+ Very detailed and honest about all that each approach entails -risks included- but always shows full confidence in his ability to provide a result better than even your own expectations.

+ Probably more anxious about doing it in a way that you like than expected, but he takes it in stride when faced with your faith in his work.

Holds your hand or touches you affectionately in general while waiting for the anesthesia to kick in, the last thing you hear before falling asleep is his humming.

At least one Segment is always at your side, both during surgery and throughout the recovery process, not only are they there specifically to observe and care for your health, but also to soothe you and offer their company.

+ He will never admit to giving those specific orders though, but he doesn't have to when all of the "younger" the Segments are more than happy to snitch.

Assigned a Segment the work of creating an entirely new cloth designed mainly to be used in binders and similar clothing after you came to him asking for something to soothe the irritation caused by the previous one.

+ It turned out to also be incredibly useful as a bandage so his Segments are also responsible for distributing rolls of it to the higher ranks under him.

Corrects people who use anything but your preferred name and pronouns, just as he does with ranks of those who have them.

+ Pretty much a 3 strike system, mistakes can be forgiven but offensive and harmful intent lands anyone in his personal lab to be "dealt with".

+ Wouldn't let you see or hear what happens, but isn't particularly determined to hide it either.

Desserts, fine silks, comfortable pillows and warm baths are a must, Pantalone is personally responsible for overseeing the quality of your care where Dottore can't and they both ensure you only have the best they can offer.

+ This probably implies a few moments of disagreement and bickering, neither mind it all that much when it's entertaining to you.

| Sucrose Headcanons.

Very very soft hair and ears, while she's often doing her best to hide some of her physical traits, she still has a deep attachment and cares for their health as part of her.

+ Orders nearly the exact the same set of hair/fur oils and products as Tighnari uses but from Albedo.

She's very skittish and sensitive around louder noises but will lose control of her own volume when she's particularly excited, going as far as to let out what Albedo once described as a yip.

Has thin and soft padding on her hands and feet, they're not quite toe beans but very close.

+ Lets Klee poke the beans while babysitting her, most likely after getting her to agree to not tell people under the bribery of desserts.

+ Her left palm and wrist have light burn scars from protecting her face after an accident in the lab caused a small explosion, the skin is still very soft but takes a more reddish tone.

While not very social, Sucrose is a bit of a chatterbox once you find the right topic for her speak on, going on and on about the different ways to harness elemental power and the ways one could use it in both medicinal practices and new technology.

Vehemently avoids Kaeya and Lisa if possible as they have too many questions she's not sure she can simply deny answering.

+ Jean is a whole different story, as the woman's calm and respectful approach to everything helps her feel less pressured, even more so since Jean is almost always buried behind a pile of paperwork, too busy to judge.

Sucrose's room is almost entirely in the palette of soft mint, white and wooden tones, she loves soft and fluffy objects as well.

+ Handmade plushies and lap blankets thrown around every sitting surface, her bed probably has one of those long full-body pillows so she can curl up with it around her shoulders.

Horrible, horrible handwriting in her notes since they're made for her -and Albedo at most- to read through, focuses on speed and detailed wording over beauty unless writing letters.

Switches weight between both feet while waiting for chemical and elemental reactions to finish taking place, doing a slight swaying motion without noticing.

Very rarely gets in contact with Tighnari through letters, mainly when she needs a second opinion on work involving Dendro or one of the various resources from Sumeru she experiments with.

Vocal and mouth-centered stims such as popping and humming, as well as the habit to "write" in the air with her fingers when thinking.

+ May or may not use small amounts of Anemo to make these "notes" visible if she's explaining it to someone else, depends on who it is.

Her origins and motives are a mystery to all around her, but so far she has proven herself to be a reliable researcher and sweet -albeit kinda awkward- company so those closer to her are simply waiting for her to feel ready, if she ever does.

Knows how to heal with Anemo but never truly worked on going past the basic levels needed to sate her curiosity of the possibility.

+ When healing, the breeze created by her Vision creates a sound similar to a soft hum, Klee and Albedo find it calming.

Messy and ruffled hair 24/7, she can't seem to get the strong breezes to stop messing it up and just gives up after a few tries, rinsing and repeating the next day.

| Amber Headcanons.

Really strong arms and back from handling her bow, but mainly from her crazier aerial maneuvers.

Tan lines all around, disastrous ones at that, thanks to so many straps.

+ one of them is a heart om her back because she asked Lisa of all people to apply sunscreen.

She probably needs hearing aids after one too many accidents during her first trials with Baron Bunny, but Barbara helped her as quickly as possible after those incidents so it's barely noticeable.

| Albedo Headcanons.

Struggles with fine motor control, but is twice as careful because of it.

+ Handles everything like it's a treasure, even more so if he truly cares about it

Uses fine Geo powder created by his own Vision to take care of injuries, it led to small scar-like markings that shine golden under the right light.

As some of his senses are slightly impaired, he compensates with a heavy affinity to Geo energy and to vibrations on surfaces he touches.

Uses reading glasses when working, as well as compression gloves when writing for long periods of time to prevent discomfort.

Chronic migraines and mild dizziness because his body wasn't truly ready to process so much sensory input, grows slowly less and less intense as the years pass.

+ Majorly visual sensory issues.

Doesn't necessarily see himself as a part of Klee's family even though she calls him “big brother”, but sees Alice and Klee as his own.

The finer details of his body such as nails and movement wrinkles have been carefully sculpted rather than a part of him from the start.

+ Moisturizes and smooths out his skin often to prevent erosion, he doesn't particularly mind a few chips as they don't affect mobility or precision, but it scared Klee once so.

| Harbinger Headcanons (misc).

Capitano carries painkillers and other miscellaneous medication in his coat.

+ He also offers whatever sword he has on him as a cane if someone needs support.

As the one who shows the most physical signs of aging, Pulcinella is a naturally comforting presence to all Harbingers and sometimes even to those who work directly under him.

+ This leads to people being particularly jealous of Tartaglia, who grew under the Rooster's wings.

+ Tartaglia doesn't mind the negative attention at all and has fun challenging them (he gets scolded every time, learns absolutely nothing).

Pantalone chews on a rubber-like material that Dottore uses in his medical endeavors *cough* saving their asses *cough*.

+ It helps him focus on his paperwork and manage the pain in his wrists.

Columbina, Arlecchino and Signora often spent time together enjoying some peace for once, away from eccentric doctors and battle-crazed gingers.

Sandrone hosts countless tea parties every month as a way to stay up to date with what happens outside her workshop, as she devotes nearly every hour to her creations.

| Il Dottore Headcanons (pt.4).

76. Really accepting of people, just in a "It's okay, I want to study people like you too" way which is not ideal, but could be worse considering everything.

77. Snaps his teeth at Pantalone when he calls him "Dottie" and tries to touch him affectionately.

78. He grinds his teeth when he's becoming overwhelmed by work and it led to a tiny piece of his tongue missing.

79. The closes are one of his most useful and welcomed creations in his life since they understand him and each other in ways no one else could and often push him to take a break while they take care of things.

80. Gets dragged out of his lab and office by his collar at least once a week, no one bats an eye at it anymore.

81. He probably doesn't even have a bed that he considers his anymore, throwing hinself over his desk and crashing when he's too tired to keep on working.

82. Got banned from a small teashop he enjoyed going to and eating baked goods at because he offered to buy the owner's recently deceased daughter, never harmed him since he genuinely kinda liked the place and workers but is still very grumpy about it.

83. Invests his free time into finding cures and better treatments to illnesses and sells the recipes, the chosen "volunteers" to these experiments are rude subordinates.

84. One of his clones has a broken tooth that he refused to fix because he bit into one of his delusions to "eat it back" after hearing that it consumed vitality.

85. People staring at him face makes him feel insecure and the old mask did very little to soothe that so he enjoyed the change quite a lot.

86. Rubs his hands red if he feels dirty or guilty.

87. Has a birthmark on his waist/belly, it looks like a wobbly little heart and he pokes at it every time he sees it.

88. Freckled king, they're very light and not many people see him from close enough to notice, but grow in number and intensity on his shoulder blades.

89. Jokingly asked the Tsaritsa for permission to boil and eat her gnosis once he got comfortable enough to talk more freely around her, she found it funny enough that she offered to let him do that to someone else's.

90. Asks questions at dizzying speed and gets mad when no one can keep up enough to answer them all.

91. He takes boiling hot showers/baths to soothe chronic pain and help him relax but needs to have a clone around beceuse he faints every damn time and they're the only ones he's comfortable being naked around.

92. Prime has night terrors when he actually sleeps instead of his usual crashing, not even the clones know what of.

93. Dottore enjoys the power his position brings and how it affects his dynamic in nearly any social situation, taking advantage of how no one would dare to say a single bad thing to/about someone who earned the Tsaritsa's approval, at least not in front of him, of course.

94. He carries a handkerchief embroidered with traditional designs from his homeland and is unwilling to leave it all in the past no matter how much he pretends not to be.

95. Cats like him a lot and he's confused but overjoyed.

96. Sways his hips a little while performing surgeries and experiments since humming repetitively helps him keep pace and track of time.

97. Fears that a clone could take over his identity and that no one would notice, they all have a similar fear.

98. Would not-so-secretly DROOL over Lady Gaga's music.

99. Knows Lisa and Baizhu in passing because they studied at the same library table sometimes but were all far too focused to talk, probably remembers them well enough to recognize with some prompting.

100. Pantalone refuses to give him more funds for his lab but will give him expensive gifts like bath oils and coats if he notices that Dottore looks stressed.

| Il Dottore Headcanons (pt.3).

51. Dottore holds no affection for the Tsaritsa but he truly respects her position as a goddess and finds it very interesting that she would do anything for her people even if it includes falling out of their favor and making them think they fell out of hers.

52. Loud noises are very overwhelming to him but loud machinery is quite the opposite, every click and scrape fascinates him no matter how many times he's heard it.

53. He hates formalities and etiquette but still has perfect manners as he knows how useful they can be.

54. Prime has caught two of his clones flirting but he left the room as soon as his brain processed it, not wanting to know how far it would go or had already gone, no one has ever mentioned that incident.

55. Pierro makes him incredibly curious, to the point where he would describe it as a physical pain if asked.

56. The leather harness Dottore wears is there because the constriction is a grounding weight surrounding him and it helps him focus, he's aware of how it looks though.

57. Sometimes he sleeptalks about his recent projects.

58. His right ear is stretched because of the vial he carries but he doesn't mind it, instead finding pride in the obvious display of his hard work.

59. To Dottore, the mere concept of a human becoming a god by ascending to Celestia is dramatic and too simple.

60. Although children are his preferred test subjects since they're supposedly far easier to handle, he has a big aversion to them since they're "loud, annoying and uncooperative" -I wonder why-, often leaving the direct handling to his more chaotic clones.

61. He lives off of coffee and the stimulants he personally created for himself and his clones to use.

62. Both the clones and Prime actually wear uncomfortable shoes but they make up for it by wearing socks, which are often mismatched with so many people wearing the same sizes in a single place.

63. He's evil and doesn't give a damn about it anymore but was doubtful at first, fearing that he'd accomplish nothing and end up regretting his actions.

64. Arlecchino always stares at him coldly and rolls her eyes as soon as he opens his mouth to talk no matter how important the information may be and this gets on his nerves very easily.

65. His hand gestures are almost a language of their own.

66. Dottore was never able to fully get rid of his laughter as he aged, sometimes he just lets out a "ghehehehehoho".

67. He once tried to create a clone of Pantalone when bored as a way to impress him and hopefully earn more mora for his experiments but it was a failure, he still gifted it to him in a jar but it wasn't all that appreciated.

68. Only understands cooking on a theoretical level, he can't even find the right timing to turn a steak and often gives up on a meal if he's the one who has to cook.

69. He found out his psychic abilities in a lame way (he tripped and dropped the stack of books he was holding but found them floatinh when he instinctively tried to grab them) so he lies and says he was defending himself from a strange attacker if someone asks.

70. Bites to show affection, his clones are like a bunch of overexcited puppies on crack so quite a few ended up with more than one scar thanks to this habit.

71. Iron deficiency makes him tire more easily but he's used to pushing through any discomfort.

72. His first -and only- test subject was himself for quite a long fime, he kinda grew to like the thrill of not knowing what will happen.

73. Has indulged in cannibalism once out of curiosity, didn't find the appeal.

74. Sandrone finds his humor to be awesome but doesn't bother with showing that, instead making comments that she knows will lead to a morbid joke here and there.

75. While he's very eccentric and intense about his work, it makes him awesome at it, you don't have to worry about falling ill or being fatally wounded when he's around.

26. He really really wants to experiment on Capitano and has gone as far as to ask for permission "as a show of respect".

27. Once got in trouble for using recreational herbs inside Akademia property and ended up being failed by the professor who caught him, oddly enough that same professor disappeared a week after Dottore came into power as a Fatui harbinger.

28. Dottore's clones actually have a deep admiration and respect for Prime that overshadows their fear, whether they're made to feel that way or not is up to speculation.

29. Vulnerability can get you killed as a Fatui, he first learned this by being on the advantageous side of it.

30. He has sensory issues that are mostly affected by textures so he keeps his gloves on at nearly all times, but even mildly wet gloves make him nauseous.

31. Soft natural fur feels like heaven and is one of the few things he truly enjoys wearing, artificial fur makes him feel itchy all over.

32. He once tried to walk in heels to prove to Signora that she was weaker than him for complaining about her aching feet after he made her wait outside his lab with nowhere to sit, he almost broke his ankle.

33. His handwriting is great but it becomes little more than a scribble when he writes in a hurry, this greatly affected his grades during his time at the Akademia.

34. There's nothing this man won't sacrifice in order to reach his goals and his single-minded focus often ends up doing him more harm than good as he gambles with his own well-being.

35. Childe once broke his nose because he made a comment on how the younger harbinger looked at him like he had killed his family, offering to actually do it so the glare would be justified.

36. His clones like to spar and act out dramatic plays where they defeat gods and beasts alike as a way to cheer Prime up when he starts to lose motivation.

37. Well manicured nails.

38. Dottore craves gentle physical contact but is far too stubborn to even realize it.

39. He became so detached from his own humanity that he denies himself even the most basic of needs such as rest and proper meals.

40. All of Dottore's clones have slightly different voices so he can differentiate befween them if needed, but they can also be identified by their birthdays.

41. Someone once told him his hair has a beautiful minty color, he started using mint-scented hair products because it was one of the few compliments he's gotten and it felt honest.

42. Exhaustion often leads him to crash as soon as he's even slightly relaxed.

43. He's secretly a sucker for cute items.

44. All of the clones loved to bother Scaramouche, patting his head and calling him a grumpy kitten whenever they saw him just to see him shake in anger.

45. Slightly crooked nose and jaw, both from injuries.

46. Thanks to his higher intellect and full focus on his academic endeavors, Dottore has always felt distanced from others and struggles to see himself at the same level as people who have -comparatively- shown far less interest in learning everything they can.

47. He kicks people's shins if they're annoying him but he's unable to fully express that.

48. There was a clone created to be more mature and to look older than Dottore but he disappeared without a word to anyone after having a breakdown about his own existence as a mere copy, he is probably still alive.

49. Cereal before milk unless there's someone else at the table, then he puts both in his mouth and swallows.

50. Dottore finds his experiments pitiful but still does his best to keep them alive for as long as possible as replacing them is burdensome and takes up time in his clone's schedules.

| Il Dottore Headcanons (pt.1).

1. Dottore is so used to bitter and sour tastes thanks to his constant consumption of coffee and pills that he grew to have a major sweet tooth.

2. Autistic because I am and I said so.

3. Probably queer too but he either put too much thought into it to the point where he overcomplicated things and "exhausted his options" or just doesn't care enough to figure it out.

4. He relies heavily on supplements to stay healthy as he struggles with maintaining his appetite, sometimes forgetting to eat.

5. The role of one of the most essential harbingers is more of a burden than an honor for him as the pressure and responsibility make him burnout very quickly but he feels as though he couldn't possibly achieve as much as he has without an Archon by his side so he endures.

6. As a child Dottore would eat pretty much any plant he found, getting sick more often than not and still coming back to try a new species, this habit carried onto his adulthood as well.

7. His bedhead is very fluffy and soft, so much so that one of his lazier clones got nicknamed "Sheep" for giving up on taming it and just living with the messy look.

8. Dottore is almost a natural at dancing but finds it far too bothersome and tiring.

9. He has eaten sand and dirt out of curiosity and was absolutely disgusted, ate it again while traveling to a different country to "compare samples".

10. He rubs the back of his neck when he feels awkward but tugs at his fingers if he's embarrassed.

11. Hands and arms have chemical burn scars from acids melting through his gloves and clothes.

12. He's not close to any of his fellow harbingers and would usually rather be anywhere when he's around them, as far as he's aware they're not too different either.

13. Extremely skilled with his hands, be it with handling tools or writing reports to the Tsaritsa with beautiful calligraphy.

14. He rarely finds himself interested in anyone -be it of a platonic or romantic nature- but if he does it soon ends up with the poor bastard being taken to his lab as he tries to figure out just how and why that person caught his attention even though they never reciprocate.

15. Chronic back, neck and wrist pain from poor posture and continuous repetitive movement while taking notes.

16. Hates veggies with all his soul, the clones like to prank each other with it by making it so the veggies look like something else.

17. Being called "young" is far too similar to being called "underdeveloped", "naive" and "stupid" to him, he's very resentful of anyone who sees him as such.

18. He doesn't mind quiet company while he works, which is why he keeps a clone that turned out to be selectively mute around, they're both comfortable enough around each other to at least have no awkwardness.

19. Dottore sees his scars as something to be ashamed of as they all come from moments where his work failed or from when he was unable to protect himself.

20. A clone once slapped Prime awake and the glare that the poor guy received was enough for him to bolt away, the others nicknamed that glare the "prey stare" as it made nearly anyone under it want to flee.

21. He's either overworking himself into the next collapse or collapsing into his next work spree, no in-between.

22. He doesn't mind and accepts that he'll always get dirty when working on his test subjects but he stops and rushes to clean himself fully as soon as something gets on his face or hair.

23. Very fast reader and incredible when it comes to condensating information in a cohesive manner, the Tsaritsa trusts him to filter through some of her own paperwork because of this.

24. Well-moisturized hands since his scars can affect his mobility and become uncomfortable easily.

25. His legs and core are quite strong since he focused on evasion and footwork over strength and fighting skills.

First and foremost I'd like to thank all the lovely pookies who gave me words of encouragement and who showed appreciation for my headcanons, looking at you Il Dottore members, you guys are absolutely incredible <3

Taking into consideration all the positive feedback my headcanons received lately, I'll be posting them here and using this account to sort through requests, challenges and such.

I will be making use of the personal tag "V [character] hcs" in order to make searching easier, but do feel free to give me suggestions!
