ONE: what is your parental situation like?? are both of your parents in the picture? are they married? divorced? what’s their names? what’s their occupations? feel free to answer with as much or as little detail as you’d like!
biological mother; josephine prescott-turner, 48, psychiatrist. biological father; donovan wyatt, 46, mechanic. stepmother; vanessa turner, 47, graphic designer.
aurelia grew up in an unorthodox household, with her biological father, biological mother and her mother’s wife all living under the same roof, but despite the odd situation - aurelia never saw much of an issue.
TWO: do you get along with your parent/s?? if both are in the picture do you have a favored parent?
of course! she absolutely LOVES her parents, and wouldn’t trade them for the universe. if she had to choose a favored parent, she’d likely choose her father. in childhood, he was the one that was around the most - both of her mothers busy with work, or each other. he taught her division, and how to ride a bike, the little things that shouldn’t matter in the grand scheme of things but ultimately mattered to her.
THREE: do you have any siblings? if yes, what’s their names? age? how do you get along with them?
though she doesn’t have any biological ties, she does have a stepbrother. he’s a couple months older than her, and though childhood left her at the brunt of his immature teasing - the two grew to be thicker than thieves. * i’m not going to elaborate too much, as i’d like to see this connection filled for her!! but if that doesn’t happen, i’ll certainly come back to this.
FOUR: in childhood, what was your favorite toy?? if you didn’t have one; what was your favorite game or past time?
aurelia’s favorite toy growing up was her cabbage patch doll. she found her at a thrift store and was instantly smitten, using her little bit of allowance to purchase it and bring it home. it looked exactly like THIS and was without a doubt her favorite thing in the world for at least four years.
FIVE: as a child what was your favorite color, animal, food, television show, and hobby?? feel free to replace any of these with something of your choosing, or add more all together.
favorite color; green - and, fun fact! it hasn’t changed. favorite animal; zebra. favorite food; spaghetti and meatballs. favorite television show; maggie and the ferocious beast. favorite hobby; playing outside with her friends.
SIX: who was your childhood best friend? what were they like? how did you meet? are you still friends to this day?
francine deveraux, the two of them met on the first day of kindergarten and very quickly became the best of friends - it wasn’t a hard decision for the either of them, and as the years passed they only grew closer. it wasn’t until the middle of seventh grade, that francine’s family decided to move across country, leaving the girl’s only form of interaction long distance. it was a tough time, and eventually they made the mutual decision that keeping up with their ‘friendship’ wasn’t beneficial for the either of them.
SEVEN: what was school like for you?? did you go to a public or a private school? were you home schooled? did you love it? hate it? tolerate it? what was your favorite subject? feel free to answer with as much or as little detail as you’d like!
aurelia’s a small town girl, and mostly every child flocked to the same school every morning - mulberry elementary school, a large brick building with kindly teachers and little budget. though she didn’t absolutely love it, she couldn’t bring herself to hate it either. in fact, she often wondered how anybody EVER could. her favorite subject had always been literature, whether it was second grade where you took turns reading, or eighth grade when she had to write six page essays.
EIGHT: what was a fear you had as a child that doesn’t make much sense to you now?? did you have one? if not; what did you want to be when you grew up? did you change your mind a lot?
aurelia had an irrational fear of costumed characters, tending to hide behind her parents when walking through amusement parks in the fear that they’d attempt to approach her. due to this, she grew to dislike barney, and various other beloved childhood favorites. to this day, aurelia’s incredibly unsure WHY she had ever harbored the fear. though i don’t have to go into it, aurelia planned to be an astronaut in her younger years, with the hope of befriending nice aliens and discovering new planets.
