Statera looked up into the blue skies, slightly cloudy. They had won so much..yet at the same time it all felt so pointless in the end. Stopping cory, stopping the quanari, stalling solas is even for a moment and in the end they now had to chase and find allies to stop his friend before he unleashed an evil none of them could truly comprehend. 

With each passing day the corruption leaks from the fade corrupting the land much akin to the winter palace, towns going insane, people killing each other, disappearances and the rising of ancient cults older then the ones they faced. 

Though some good has occurred. The reunification of the mages and templars two groups that now help and lift each other up, leliana now runs the head of the church bringing in an new era of enlightenment.  In orelis due to their backing and support a civil uprising took place and the final piece of the game was set to rest a new nation forming one that helped the people for the people no matter the class nor its divisions, people no longer seen as its pawns. 

Thanks to his close ally ships with tevinter and the events leading to promotions and raisings of the ranks he could now count on tevinter for any battle or any war...they needed more though, allies that solas didn't know which lead them here to kirkwall.

As for him? He had dealt with his demons, his trauma, conquered both the blood of a god and the magic gifted upon him from the blood dragon himself.  He had risen to a level that the elven gods would envy raising him to a status of a new living god...yet even with all his new powers and abilities their hope still laid within the mortals that lived in this world..and romance wise...well lets just say him and sera did eventually get much closer.

“I didnt know there were other dwarves who got their magic during some fun ruin exploration were their heart was replaced by a red lyrium shard.” He says sticking out his tougne. “Yes i know dwarves with magic isnt rare but my circumstances unless there is another like me who somehow got magic in the same exact way as me..i would say is pretty rare and special”

“It wasnt entirely my choice, it was the first time i had used my abilites to such an extreme when fighting solas. He has decades more experience against me but it was like raw power against refined skill. I lost badly i was found by cassandra and well by the time i woke up again we needed to start moving quickly, i wanted to tell the whole team but we felt we should keep it small for now and to tell only the team who was coming with me to kirkwall. Also i would like to say i have stayed pretty level headed even before i rose to this status..i mean a dwarf bloodmage with a weird contraption as my heart that gives me unique blood mage powers..i could have become a tyrant much sooner.”

He listens and slowly nods. “That’s what we need to talk about.” His eyes flash much and everything just stops. The flapping wings of a birb stopped in motion, the dripping of water from someone pouring a bottle of wine at a nearby resturant. People walking, everything simply ceased expect him and the group.

“Only a few people know exactly what happended when me and solas communicated. Or specifically those who created the first inquisition, cassandra, leliana, cullen and josephine. I also told sera because..she knows when im hiding stuff im terrible at it. now im telling you varric and hawke. Throughout our journeys i ascended to the same level of godhood that solas is...we did battle near the eluvian gate and i managed to destroy it albeit solas managed to escape through it...Currently the inquistion is doing what it needs to, to surpress what happended between us but once we start gathering allies it will become increasingly harder to cease rumors..the mages will help us because we arent going into this battle empty handed...we have me and all the craziness that has always followed me and because i showed good faith to the mages during the war i have..some connections within the group...until it becomes harder to keep my true status secret i must ask you keep this information secret.”

“I suppose but we should look for the mages and any other groups after that. Once my appearance in the city becomes well known we may start getting swamped with questions or people wanting to talk with us.” After the disagreement with solas it wasnt like he just let solas walk away. They did do battle two figures of god like strength atleast when it came to magic even in a remote location well he was sure like most things someone saw it even with solas managing to escape..

He knew it was only a matter of time for news to spread across the contientient..and whilst many will flock to join this “new inquistion” if only through the knowledge of the arrival of a new god it also meant some people probably werent going to like or accept this new height of power.

“Not at all.” He raises a hand chuckling softly. “I am shogun kage as you may have heard i have come to this ball as a sign of good faith and celebration towards my people and empresses trade...however i have heard of this inquistion and your plight against the jingshen..or demons as you call them here. I have recently finished a conversation with your inquistor and have come to you at his advice. I would like to put in my support towards your inquistion. If the jingshen defeat you on the mainland then they will surely seek my people as well and if i can help now i will.”

His elegance and prestiege, that confidence and power making it easy to cross the floods of nobles as he searches and eventually finds the other. It is nice to meet you statera...man who carries the flame.” The emerald eyed man smiles softly.

Statera just chuckles. “As too you. Interesting bodyguard you have there..i wonder if he even has to use that sword with the amount of pressure i felt off him..how are you liking the lands here so far?” 

“I have only visited the lands of orelis but i am looking forward to visiting more of the surrounding territory. Though such a shame that these lands find themselves corrupted by the seishin..or demons as you call them here. Speaking of which i have learned some of your inquistion but i am to understand that you are spearheading the force against these seishin?” Kage replies.

“Indeed and we could use all the help we could get. One of the reasons we came to the winter ball gaining more of the nobles support and all that.” Statera nods.

“Wonderful whilst i cannot offer much i would love to gather more on the land. Trade with orelis and this inquistion would do much to spread my reputation and goods throughout the land whatever you could trade in return.” The shogun replies a slight glint in his eyes.  “ah..that actually sounds great..but im not the best at setting up trade or even beginning the talks..you would want to talk to josephine about that. shes much more knowledgeable in that space then i am.” Statera flails his arms slightly.

“Ah, yes. I had my bodyguard give me an idea of your party so i know that one. Then i will go and inquire this path with her then. Thank you for your time. Man of the flame. We will be meeting again i am sure.” He says giving a bow and statera doing the same before they go their separate ways. Statera going to meet up with sera and the shogun making his way to josephine.
