I fell in love with someone that is not a boy

I fell in love with her smile

I loved to know I made her smile

I fell in love with her laugh

I would do anything to hear her laugh

I fell in love with her words

They sounded like a sea of poetry

I fell in love with her touch

It was an addictive feeling

I fell in love

I fell in love with someone that is a girl

And she has no idea

How she tells me jokes to make me laugh

I will never get tired of them

How she loves facts and history

But there's a fact she doesn't know

How she calls me love

My heart flutters a little every time she calls me that

She has no idea how much I'm in love with her.

I don't really plan on telling her

But I hope she figures it out one day

She'll connect all the dots like the games she used to play.

She'll still love me like the way she loves me today.

She'll still smile like I make her smile every day.

I hope I'll make her smile every day.

I hate heavy heart days

Days were people don't get you

The ones that normally read you like an open book.

I hate heavy heart days

Days were you feel like everyone annoys you

They don't understand when you feel blue

I hate heavy heart days

Days were you come home and you hate your siblings

Days were you lay in bed and re run the day

Days were you speak to someone you know

But it feels like a chore.

On heavy heart days you can't cry

You feel drained, your heart is dragging you across the floor

On heavy heart days nothing feels right

You don't want to do anything to feel better, you hate everything in sight.

I hate heavy heart days.

Heavy heart days are filled with people of art

You put on a smile too long for your part

No one knows you're having a heavy heart day

You act nice and try to nod at what people say

You know you're suffering

Your mind is wandering
