Hermans Heart~ She still had a job to do....
Tumblr media
~Death! Why is it they all all wished for death? Giggling slightly out loud as she hears some of the cries from the human realm. It has her pondering on the thoughts of all who called. Entranced by those who would dare seek to pass along in a way deemed a cowards way out. It was frowned upon, embarrassing even, but not to Atty. No, to her it was beautiful, satisfying, and amazing.~
~Choosing one of the souls that reached out to her she flashed to New Orleans to the bar the human was drowning his sorrows in. Sitting down on the leather bar stool next to him, Atty orders a drink and starts conversation with her next soul.~
Hi my name is Atty.  Who do I have the pleasure of sitting next too?
~As she listens he starts speaking. He told here his name was Herman. He had moved her because he'd met a female online. They'd dated. They were in love. She'd cheated on him with another. He couldn't forgive or forget. Atty sat listening to the story.....she was fascinated. She could feel the pain rolling off him with every word. Venom spewed at each perfect sound. Herman hated she who hurt him. Atty took a drink of the jack and coke her ears opened wide she spoke with the softest of voice.~
Yes. Humans tend to gravitate to those they believe is worthy of that it is they offer. Yet in truth it's not what the heart wants. It's what the mind makes the heart believe that it's perfect. ~ She smiles and brings the glass to her lips. Her golden green eyes burning through him.~ What is it you wish for tonight my dearest Herman? You have called upon death, and death is right before you. What have you to say?
~She waited....instead if talking Herman leans over and gives her a small kiss on the lips. Her lips tug on either side. Atty reaches up and wipes the tears falling from his left eye.~ Water drops from your eye right over your heart. Is it love you wish to die for? ~Herman smiles and takes hold of her wrist. It was the softest touch she had ever felt. As her gaze met his Atty could see the sorrow through his eyes. The eyes never lie.~ You force a smile on your lips, but your eyes tell a much different story. I can hear your heart. ~Moving her hand down over his heart she leaves it there. A peaceful feeling comes over her and her mind reaches out to her roombshebworksnfrom. Once there she takes hold of the shears, and clips his life cord. No play. No pain. It was a beautifully peaceful death. Atty held out her arms breaking his fall. She lies him gently on the floor, and stands then walks out of the bar and into the street. Standing under the light of the lamp she turns as Hermans soul walks from the door of the bar.~
~Her voice soft, sweet, and her lips smiling... a peaceful feeling spreads within her.~ Tell me something. Do you feel pain in your heart? ~Herman shook his head, and smiled.~ Nay. I don't feel sorrow. It's nothing but joy. Thank you! Thank you for freeing me. ~Atty gave him one nod and smiled waving her hand... a door appeared in front of him.~ That's all well and good. Now go...go into the light it's there, you will find happiness. ~Atty turned and walked down the street in the darkness. A pleasant feeling spread through her. Flashing back to the Cals house she walked silently to her work room where she shut the door. Once inside she saw the life line on the floor. Moving over she hoovered over the cord she had just snipped. Finally, she bet over and picked it up. She let the cord lightly float from one finger to the next. Smiling she stands up straight and walks over to the compartment meant for her eyes only. It was there it would stay. Safe. Where she could relive the beautiful night they'd shared. Pleased with herself she went about watching the humans knowing there was love in the world. Where there was love there was hope. Perhaps there was hope for those below...perhaps. And now they will know death can be a beautiful thing...yes death is not always bad. Right?~

~Things are not what they seem. Lacy and her were still waiting for Ares and Apollo to make their move. Clotho hadn't realized the enemies she'd made when she threw her sisters under the bus. Deep inside it hurt Atty to know her own sister would turn on them as she did. Why would she want her sisters to be unhappy? Jealousy perhaps, or maybe greed. Atty had been looking in the bowls as an imagine became crystal clear. Her eyes blinking as she watched the sick hook up between Zeus and Clotho. Clotho looked to be in live with the failing God. Atty asked herself why? Was it power? Or a promise that he'd made while in the moment of ecstasy? She didn't know and she didn't care. What she cared about was telling @calianmontague this would be news for all of them to work with. Atty tucked her book under her arm and cleared the vision. She needed to work when something that happened in the past was brought to her attention.~
A tangled web
~Sighing loudly, Atty looks at her sisters as they get ready to attend the birth of a new soul. For those of you who believe in the fates know they appear three days prior to a birth. They do this in order to plan the life events, length, and of course death of the soul being brought in to this world.~
~As the female prepared to give birth to the small one, the Fates continued with their ritual. Clotho and Lacey were doing their thing. Lacey was measuring the length of the cord, and Clotho was notching it with life events. Atty watched. Usually she didn’t get into it, but this time….this time was different. Atty watched the entire process. It had been the first time in the many thousands of years they had been assisting. She found herself pacing as the female screamed with the pain.  As she’d never watched, or been through this process it touched her heart. This female would go through this much pain to bring a life into the world? It was a selfless act, one the showed love and compassion, and it changed who she was.~
~Clotho and Lacey were pulling on her dress  trying to get her to go, and Atty kept pulling away from them. She was mesmerized by the whole thing. This act of love, and the excitement that swirled in the room. When  she finally looked up and realized her sisters had left her, and that she’d been standing there for hours, just watching, waiting to see what they would do next. Giving a firm shake of her head she flashed up to her room. Sitting on her bed she thought of the simple act. It was one that had great discipline. It made her wonder if her sisters and her would ever experience that. Atty found hoping that they would.~
~Days went on, then months, and finally years from the day that changed her. Atty kept up with the male child that was born on the fateful night. Always following him in her bowls and ensuring that he was safe from harm. She didn’t know why. She just knew that she did. Atty kept it from Clotho and Lacey as they would tell her not to meddle in the affairs of others. They might even tell Zeus, and she really didn’t want to face that grumpy, old God anytime soon. Even if the others on Mount Olympus feared them, she didn’t want her bowls taken. If they took them she would risk going bonkers. Keeping it hush, hush, she continued to watch, and wait knowing that one day she would experience that even if it meant waiting thousand of more years.~

Hey everyone. I was talking with Tonya about this and noe I am bringing it to you. I got some new books in. They cover all gods and goddess from every pantheon. Lacy, Atty, and we will just write Clotho in have been developed. I thought the Horse Goddess, Niorun or Njorun is Nick and Dares Mother. Their names would have to be changed. Dares father is morphous and Nicks Mother could be a Native American God or God of Chaos. I am looking. I will upload everything I write in regards to the book. I have sent Tonya some of the pages of character development. We would disassociate our self from Sherrilyn Kenyon and write our book our way Essie and Urians names will change we can continue with the story. Hope this is okay.

What does Atropos stand for, what is her abilities, and other  things about her.
Atropos is a Goddess of fate and is in charge of the inevitability of death along with her sisters, the Fates. They implement how mortals die. She is one of the few deities to work with Heaven and Hell.
Atropos is extremely powerful.
Immortality - As a greek deity, Atropos is immortal.
Invulnerability - As a goddess, she is immune to conventional weapons.
Super Strength - As a goddess, Atropos is much stronger than people, and at least as strong as Seraphim when ordinary angels seemed to fear her. As well as the Gods and Goddesses on Olympus.
Teleportation - Atropos is able to disappear and reappear in a completely different place in the blink of an eye. She is one of the few non-angelic beings to be able to go to and from Heaven at will.
Chronokinesis - Atropos is able to freeze and control time to move objects that create chain-reaction effects. These chain reactions result in her targets' deaths.
Foreseeing and Chain-reaction Effect - Atropos is able to see the immediate future to create chain-reaction effects through the surrounding of her victims, ending in certain death.
Supernatural Perception - Atropos can see and sense things that are naturally invisible.
Supreme Knowledge - Being thousands of years old, as well as a goddess, Atropos possesses vast knowledge about the world and its inner-workings.
Immunity to Timeline Alteration - Unlike humans, but like angels, Atropos is both aware and unaffected by the alteration of timelines.
Fate Manipulation - As a goddess of fate, it is understood she possesses at least limited power over this area as she was able to conjure anything necessary and manipulating reality so it can lead to the person's Death.
Weaknesses
The blade meant to kill Fate
Fate-killing blade - She can be killed by a knife/sword of some sort, similar in appearance to an Angel's sword.
Equipment
Destiny's Book - Atropos carries a book that documents human fate, with a bookmark comprised of golden life threads.
