Vickiana Arias, born July 3, 1983, is a singer/songwriter living in New York. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, and grew up listening to all genres of music. She has studied voice technique with Carmen Cancel at Singers Forum, where she performs in open, recitals, and concerts. She is currently working for a trading firm in downtown Manhattan as an HR/Accounting Specialist. Vickiana's music is relaxed and poetic, its vibe combining Soul and R&B, with a Latin heartbeat pulsing at its core. She draws inspiration to write music from the experiences and circumstances shaping her life. She writes from her soul, striving to give each song substance, meaning and heart. The support she receives at her open mic performances is one of the things that brought her love for singing to the surface. She lives to perform, infusing her positive attitude tightly inside her music. She loves making people happy, and uses that purpose to fuel her passion for singing.
