Okay, but can we talk about how Coulson’s totally coded as the Damsel in Distress in this scene - Phil’s lying there on the floor after being knocked down and knocked silly, staring up in disbelief at the Super Strong ™ Talbot as he walks in and destroys the monsters, then tells Phil (very solemnly) I told you I could fix this, before Talbot walks over and makes off with the still supine Coulson. Granted Talbot doesn’t scoop him up into his arms and bridal carry him off, but, you know - Talbot is clearly meant to be seen as heroic here, and I cannot avoid seeing Coulson as (once again) a Damsel in Distress.
