Earlier this week, Joe Budden received a gold plaque from the RIAA for his 2003 single, “Pump It Up.” While the feat is certainly one to celebrate, despite arriving 21 years after the track’s release, Yung Miami didn’t think so. She took to X to issue a shady response to the news, making it clear that she was not impressed.

Yung Miami reacted with a simple series of laughing emojis. Instead of engaging right away, Budden decided to bow out altogether. “It would be too easy,” he wrote. “Maybe tmw lol.” She then called him a bully, slamming him for laughing at other people’s accomplishments and suggesting she was giving him a taste of his own medicine.

In an interview with ESPN published on Saturday, Aug. 10, the 36-year-old Australian competitor (whose real name is Rachael Gunn) defended her unconventional dance moves that cost her three round robin-style battles on Friday, telling the outlet that she is unfazed by the mockery she received on social media.

"I was never going to beat these girls on what they do best — their power moves," Raygun said of her three competitors: Team USA's b-girl Logistx, 21, France's Syssy, 16, and Lithuania's Nicka, 17. "What I bring is creativity."

Rod Stewart is dropping more shows from his schedule. The “Maggie May” singer, 79, announced on Instagram that he has canceled two more North American shows on his schedule after catching COVID-19 — a few days after calling off his Aug. 7 concert in Las Vegas due to strep throat.

A statement from his team shared on Friday, Aug. 9, read: “We regret to announce that tonight’s Rod Stewart’s concert in Stateline, NV and his August 10 concert in Lincoln, CA have been postponed as the singer recovers from a summer strain of COVID-19.”

The statement noted that the Stateline and Lincoln concerts have been rescheduled to Aug. 20 and Aug. 18, respectively. His team noted that fans who bought tickets “should hold on to” them as they will “be honored for the rescheduled shows.”
