if you follow me for boobs art you have to accept that for no reason at all i will randomly make a post about some boring video game shit i was thinking about while driving

i think about this a lot, i think it's really easy to say realistic graphics don't age well compared to stylized graphics, but i can think of a lot of examples of games that went for realism that i personally think *did* age very well. half life 2, resident evil 4, halo 3, they all still look really good to me. i think the difference is that they all had artists and a cohesive style still despite going for a realistic look. i don't need hyper realistic graphics but i'm okay with it if the art is good. also to clarify, i don’t think the pursuit of realism is good at all, i hate that games constantly chase it, but i just don’t really believe that realistic games automatically age worse.
