i know i say ‘oh darry wouldn’t text like a dad!’ but okay, i’m willing to contradict myself ONCE

whenever he’s at work and gets a text he doesn’t really have time to read it so he just sends a thumbs up to show he got it and isn’t ignoring them-it’s his quick way of saying ‘i can’t talk right now’. after a while the gang realizes he’s gonna end up just reading it later and they call him in an actual emergency because it’s lead to conversations like
