She nodded her head frantically up and down to Astoria's questions. "Ahuh!" Tut tut, what had your mummy told you about lying Astraea? Tinky was the one who made the sandwiches, after all, Astraea barely reached the top of the counter. She couldn't even see over the top of it. She took one of the little triangle sandwiches and placed it on a little plate. "'Ere you arrrrre mummy!!! They arrrrre yummydelish."

And even when the boy had disappeared, she refused to let tears spill but she couldn't contain the overwhelming surge of emotions that almost threatened her to break down. So she released that by doing the one thing she knew best to do, break something of his. She's done it often, perhaps by accident but this time was the first that she would do it purposefully. The object was in the corner of her eye and then then next it was on the floor, shattered into pieces but she didn't care. Exiting the room, she didn't take a glance back 'cause she had gone past caring anymore.
“You’re very welcome.” And, by then Scorpius had reached over to his nightstand and took hold of his wand. He needed to be free of the manor and everything that came with it. He pushed past his sister, and with a final step disappeared, leaving only a deafening crack in his wake.
#I'm not sure what would be precious to him so I left that blank#for you to think of it lmao#lE FINITE NOW YES?

"What a shame! Suppose it's not all that bad, you do look like you need all the extra time studying to accomplish even the most average of grades." She teased once more, humour entwined in her words. "Never mind, I also speak French. I suppose it was all those vacations in south of France that helped."
"Ah, then I guess that makes me a social reject. But is that so bad?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. Even as a social reject, he was surrounded by his family. So he still felt pretty well off. "Sorry, slip of the tongue. My grand-père says it all too often and I spend a lot of time with him. Guess it caught on."

"Can I not wish to spend time with my own brother? That's all I ask." Looking up, she offered her brother a soft smile before she stopped herself. It was not known whether Scorpius would return it and so Astraea would rather not try than to try and not have it given back. In an attempt to change the subject, she asked him as she hoist her self up on the bed by her elbows. "-What book were you reading before I decided to interrupt, as I seem to do best?" She cheekily ginned at him.
Coming to the realization that he was not going to finish his book, he dropped it from covering his face and placed it beside him. “No — not really.” He loved his family ; truly loved them. There would be no prouder Malfoy than Scorpius himself… That didn’t mean he wanted to spend his time with them. Solitude was the blond’s fort’e.
”It’s nothing personal, Astraea, please believe that. I would just rather spend my time alone.”

"Ha!!That's rich coming from you!" She blinked as he spoke. It hurt that just the sheer thought of her company wasn't something that her own brother could bare to endure, but she couldn't show him that because she knew that he'd tease her about it just as he did everything else that she 'supposedly' did wrong in his eyes. There weren't much that she could do right according to her brother. "Yes, I am done with you. Thank you for the most ravishing conversation, Scorpius. Glad that you managed to find time to grant with me with such a pleasant last conversation." Because now, she didn't think she could speak to him again until he spoke to her.
”Oh, so you think you know all about your dearest brother. Is that so, Astraea? Do you really think I don’t care for my family? Not true in the least, but I have one simple request: to be left alone in my own room. My own space. A nice and cozy, fifteen by, fifteen room just for Scorpius. Sounds childish, hm? Sounds simple that’s all I wish? Suppose not since this has now turned into Astraea the martyr hour.” His defenses went up, spewing anything that could seem harmful. He wanted her gone ; he wanted to be alone. “Are. You. Done?”

Lifting her head up from her downwards glance at her book, she quirked a brow for how could one simply assume that she, of all people, needed tutoring? She straightened up once she saw that the girl had summoned her book even without a request from Astraea and began to advance towards the girl. She collected her book from the girl and held it tightly across her chest in her arms."No ... I'm not here for this tutoring session and neither will I be in the future. I know who you are, you don't need to introduce yourself."
Don’t make a snide comment. Don’t make a comment. “I’m guessing that you are the one I’m tutoring?” She asked and then swished her wand and saw how it jumped up towards her hand and then handed it to the shorter blonde. “My name is Dominique.”

She knew she hit a nerve, it was plain for all to see but she stood still and strong. "I can only compare when it's true! You don't love me, you don't love your family. You only care about yourself but the sad thing is that in the end, Lucius did everything with his family safety in mind. I don't see you ever doing that, so you know what? Fine. You get what you've always wanted, me to stop talking to you."
Lucius. The name sounded like venom coming from his sisters lips. He despised his grandfather — wished there some way he could write that pitiful man out of the Malfoy name. But — he couldn’t. “Don’t you dare compare me to that man, Astraea. Out. Now.”

"Weak? For what? Because I hoped you'd actually want to talk to me? Oh I do apologise for tainting the Malfoy name and for being your sister." She rolled her eyes in hope it hid her anger. "You sound an awful lot like Lucius, but unlike him, you were brought up better."
“Oh, sister — you sound irrevocably weak.”

"Excuse me for having a heart. I don't even know you anymore, Scorpius."
“You allow your emotions to best you. Tsk, tsk. If you won’t leave — I will. Even if this is my room. Enjoy the emptiness of it.”

"I never said you can't be here, I was asking what you were doing here?" She rolled her eyes and placed her hands on her hips. "Well?" She mimicked him.
"Why can’t I be here?" he raised his eyebrow, he had his arms folded, glancing back at her. "Well?"
