honestly, it’s up in the air.

whenever i write, yes of course it’s mainly for me to enjoy, but it’s extremely discouraging to write pieces that are well-thought out and like, 10k+ words, only for them to get 250ish notes, versus when i write like 500 words and it’s smut, the notes are skyrocketing.

i’m not the type of person to write nsfw fics all the time because that isn’t the main genre i enjoy. but i don’t wanna waste my time making things all pretty and posting them when there isn’t really an audience that enjoys that (at least anymore). like yes, i write for me, but i post for others, so that it’s enjoyable to them too— but if no one is reading it, i’m wasting time and effort, to be honest.

i’m also a series gal and when i would write 10-12k words for fable and truth, literally it would get like 93 notes or something. that’s like publishing a book that no one reads, i don’t entirely see the point.

the fandom is also just weird sometimes and there’s drama like every other day lmao. i can’t handle it and i’ve literally hid this app from my phone so i’m hardly even here. if i do continue to write, it’ll probably be on tlou or arcane or shit like that, but probably nothing else for billie. sorry love :(
