urgent help - we got robbed
Tumblr media
hi everyone i'm sorry to put this on your dashes again but this is an emergency. earlier today i got robbed and they took away my bag with the life preserving medication that i and my mother take. i know it's annoying to have to see me beg constantly but i would like for my illnesses to not ravage mine and my mom's life even more than they already do. the total amount is 850 usd and i don't know if i could manage to make that on my own so please, if you can spare anything, even just a share, i would massively appreciate it

“My parents disappeared during the last dictatorship. They were political activists. My father was taken first in 1977. My mother was taken a year later during the World Cup. We were standing in a public square, and two cars stopped, and they grabbed me and my mother. They let me go. But my mother was never heard from again. I learned all of this later because I was only three at the time. My grandparents raised me. When I was a child they would tell me that my parents were working. I used to imagine them building a skyscraper, wearing helmets, and getting closer and closer to the top. It wasn’t until the age of ten that I learned what really happened. But even then, my parents were only ideas to me. They were two-dimensional. But when I turned seventeen, I visited the town where they first met. I found their old friends and they told me stories. I learned that my father loved the Beatles. He also loved to dance. A man gave me a costume that my father would wear when he danced. And suddenly my parents weren’t ideas anymore. They were people. They were Daniel and Viviana. And for the first time, I cried for them.” (Buenos Aires, Argentina)

This is a very hard post to write, and for days I debated on whether I should even post it or not. But I feel as though this matter is something everyone should be aware of, so that things happening in this beautiful country of mine don’t get covered by politicians trying to rewrite events in the future with elections coming.
There is a big city in Buenos Aires that is currently under water. The number of dead people found keeps increasing. There are children that have been swallowed by the strong currents and their parents are desperately trying to find them, not losing hope in a truly hopeless situation.
Bahía Blanca is under water. People are losing their homes, their businesses, their livelihoods. People are losing everything, including their lives.
It is not the first time this city is affected by weather phenomena and by the sea growing out of control. This is a tragedy that could’ve, SHOULD’VE, been prevented, but no politician is ever interested in doing anything. Even now a big part of relief efforts comes from the public, from civilians donating food, clothes, mattresses, money—and it’s still not enough. Police and army forces are rescuing civilians just as civilians are rescuing themselves and their pets.
There are many wrong things happening in this beautiful country. In Argentina. There are many truly wrong heinous things happening, and sometimes I feel like I’m going crazy because what’s happening here seems to be of little importance to the rest of the world.
Maybe that’s why I’m writing this, why I’m posting this. I want people to know what’s going on, so it doesn’t feel like the world doesn’t care.

urgent help!
as you guys know my grandparents got scammed almost a month ago, some man told them he was going to send them medical equipment they needed for $500 dollars, we were desperate, not only they lost all the money they had, my grandpa has gotten significantly worse, he's starting to lose vision in his good eye and my grandma is losing mobility as well (evidence), I know I sound annoying always coming here and begging for money for my grandparents and for my college, I don't know how to anticipate the grief, losing my grandpa everyday to his illness, losing my college education cause I can't afford it, in México the situation it's just getting worse and even though I feel lonely I have found a community here and I'm forever grateful for that, even a dollar goes a long way and all the money will go to their medical needs since I'm very sure I won't be able to cover college expenses, please share and donate if you can, you can help via p*ypal or any way you want through ko-fi, here's the link! 💕 thank you sm

El municipio de Bahía Blanca compartió alias para donar desde el extranjero.
The municipality of Bahía Blanca shared aliases to donate from abroad: BAHIAXBAHIA.USD
Tumblr media
For those who don't know, I live in Bahía Blanca, a city located in the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, which suffered a serious flood last March 7 due to the immense amount of water that fell during the storm (more than 400 mm, which is what it rains in Bahía Blanca in a year). So far there are 16 dead, 100 missing and approx. 1450 refugees. The rain overflowed the Maldonado canal and the Napostá stream, making entire areas impassable and destroying many houses and real estate. This is why we need a lot of help and every dollar counts to help all the people affected.
