Hello! I think your blog is super cute and I was wondering how you make your manga edits. Is there a certain program you use?

Thank you so much, I’m glad you think so! I use Photoshop but if you play around with other programs like gimp you should be able to get the same result. Here’s a step by step of how I do things! Step 1: I start by choosing a scene that I like the art or feeling of. 

Step 2:  Sometimes it has things I think are perfect in the manga but I feel could be simplified into a bite-sized verson for my blog. I tend to take out names in particular so they are more relatable. I use a white brush to erase those parts.

Step 3: I then clone parts of the image, draw in new lines, or erase other things with a fuzzy brush to make up for the parts I took out.

Step 4: Go to enhance (on the same bar as “file” tab), adjust color, adjust hue/saturation. Make sure to hit Colorize (bottom right) first before changing the numbers. I always go with Hue: 350, Saturation: 75, Lightness: 75.  If you wanted to make it a different pastel color at this point, just slide the hue bar around. It’s really fun.

Step 5:  Save your picture as a png and enjoy! Good luck and have fun making your own should you like to! Thanks for the wonderful ask!
