Other Robins: complain endlessly about Dick.

Also other Robins: literally only want to be Robin because of what Dick made it mean to Gotham and the world. Like, this is their literal, actual only reason. Dick wanted to be Robin because of what it meant for him. Robin only means to the other Robins what Dick - through his time and actions as the hero Robin - made it mean in their eyes. The actions and stories and respect he made associated with the name Robin. And this isn’t to be confused with just the act of being Batman’s partner - none of them needed Dick’s actual permission to do that, at least other than when he was Batman himself. If all they truly respected or wanted to do the same or their own version of was being Batman’s partner and protege, they never needed to be Robin to do so….any one of them could have insisted upon or even just asked to come up with their own name and identity. But they didn’t, because it wasn’t just Batman’s partner they wanted to be, it was Robin, specifically.

Me: These characters sure do have weird ways of showing they respect someone.

The fact DC comics hasn’t capitalized on a mini series of the Batfamily all living at Wayne manor is a shame. It would be an excellent comedy. Issues could feature such plots as:

-Roof tag 2.0

-What Duke does in the morning when everyone is sleeping because of the night shift, including but not limited to, dancing in the kitchen while jamming to music.

-What the heck the animals are up to.

-Prank War that gets out of hand very quickly

It comedy gold waiting to happen.

Hey everyone, I don't mean to be a bother but I'm in a pretty rough place. I had my first day back at work, and not even two days later we has a shooting. A man came in, killed his wife (or girlfriend) and toddler, and then turned the gun on himself. Thank God, no one else was hurt and I happened to be off that day, and my heart goes out to their family. Needless to say, I'm a bit nervous about returning to work, but am going to because of my needs of course. As difficult as it is to say, I'm absolutely terrified to sleep in my car right now and am seeing if I can raise funds for even just 2 or 3 nights in a hotel so I can catch my bearings. My parents passed and I don't have a family I can turn to, and I also have bills past due.

I have $68 and am trying to raise $400 for my bills and 2 nights at an inexpensive hotel. As always, reblogs are greatly appreciated. I'm sorry to ask for help a last time, but I can't begin to explain the state of mind and fear and anxiety I have in my car. Thank uou for your time.
