Day 9, not a flower per se but I'm pretty proud with how this turned out back in 2018 when i first started out

I referenced a photo by Samuel Zeller from his book, Botanical. He does amazing photos of plants and florals behind glass, which gives it this beautiful and ethereal look.

Day 10, Magnolia Soulangiana (actually a cross between M. denudata & M. liloiflora) which I referenced from Redoute's illustration.

i mentioned picking flowers at random for this year's drawtober in my previous post but i saw this witchy prompt list from floralfawn so ofc i had to!

and in getting hyped for drawtober, i'll be posting some of my old floral art ☺️

so i think i might be ready for drawtober this year. last time i completed any drawing challenge was in uhh...2018? it looks like i'm overdue 😂

tho instead of using the official prompt list i might just do my own. florals perhaps?
