I made her a Psyker in Rogue Trader for OP build purposes but I play Heretic and for me my excuse was that her powers were gifts of Chaos. And she probably holds her wife's staff which I thought was super cute.

Adjusting to life on a voidship was surprisingly easy. Sure there was no sky or grass and his surroundings were an endless maze of plasteel and grating, but Jehoel figured it wasn't much different than being in the depths of any base back on Cadia. He could tolerate it if only for his sister's sake.

The twins had managed to gain recruitment on a rogue trader vessel, promising to do any job necessary. And there was always work to be done. From manual labor to courier work to, yes, even latrine duty. If it allowed them to remain aboard, a place to lay their heads, and some food in their stomachs, then they did it.

Jehoel in particular was eager to keep busy, sometimes leaving Jaei behind as he did this particular time. Moving about let him learn the layout of the lower decks, see new sights, and even meet new people. People like the man he found struggling with a crate in one of the holding bays.
