I put my project aside because life became very busy. I’m hoping to be able to find time to work on it now things have settled down a little. #crossstitch #crossstitching #crossstitchersofinstagram #crossstitcher #geekycrossstitch #geekycrossstitching #videogamecrossstich #geekycrafts #xstitch #xstitching #xstitchersofinstagram #stitchers #stitchersofinstagram #nerdstitch #videogamecrafts https://www.instagram.com/p/B5en5kJHaSN/?igshid=yuk1646997c3

Did a little bit tonight. It’s difficult to see and most of the floss is very light, but I’m definitely making some progress. #crossstitch #crossstitchersofinstagram #geekycrossstitch #viedeogamecrossstitch #geekycrafts #xstitching #xstitch #xstitchersofinstagram #stitchersofinstagram #stitchers #nerdstitch #videogamecrafts https://www.instagram.com/p/Bv-yUTVlU5d/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=md457zxdbuar

My most recent session, definitely making progress. Still stitching when the muse strikes. It’s going well! The high collar is an interesting part of the pattern, the color switching is difficult at best. Thank goodness for parking.

His face emerges. Hello Ezio! I’m sorry for the lack of posting, I wrote one out and the tumblr app ate it, so I’ll try again. This project has been truly interesting and I’m loving every moment that I have a chance to stitch. I’m going on 7 months or so of stitching... Off and on. I wonder where I’d be if I documented and stitched every day. I’d probably become a little resentful of the project and my progress and abandon it. To hopefully stem this, I do only stitch now when the muse strikes. Sometimes that’s everyday, sometimes it’s once a week. I’m not trying to make excuses, my dear followers, just letting you know that I’m still going, but there are reasons behind my infrequent posting. Thanks for understanding!

Most recent progress. Through the months of November and December, I spent a lot of time stitching. I would travel with my scroll frame and kit, stitching on vacation and through holidays. In between then and now, a lot has happened. Work has had its ups and downs, the holiday season happened, and I found myself not wanting to do anything but stitch. No video games, no nothing but spend hours and hours stitching. At any rate, I have definitely made a ton of progress on the hood section. I’m pleased with how it’s going. Tonight though, a night off. I’m tired and have a lot of design work to do.

I've made some progress with stitching lately. I'm almost done with a full page! Just a few more squares to go. I was planning on doing Inktober this year and while I had a couple days of good sketching, I'm really out of practice. So, I'll still do the prompts, but not necessarily on the days of. I'm way more inspired to stitch lately. #crossstitch #crossstitching #crossstitchlove #crossstitchersofinstagram #crossstitcher #xstich #xsticher #xstitchersofinstagram #gamercrossstitch #geekycrossstitch #projectprogress #noinktoberthisyear

I've made quite the progress since my last post. I'm almost done with my second page even (of 12 or so!) We are almost to part of the hand, collar, and yes... his dreamy face. I tend to be a slow sticher so daily progress isn't really something I'm going to consistently do. I'll try to be better if I make a couple 10x10 boxes worth of progress. I do plan on stitching tonight and possibly tomorrow as well ... when it rains in Portland, might as well hunker down and stay warm.

This is about a couple days worth of progress. I forgot to post last week due to work and Destiny 2 coming out. I finally sat down and stitched today. It was really nice. I did try a couple things... like cross-country, again (which I don't like. I much prefer parking) I made a few mistakes and while most can't see them, I can and know they are there. Sigh. All in all, it's looking really nice... can't wait to see Ezio's face though. Soooooooon.

Making a lot of progress the last few days. I'm starting to see the blade and the shoulder. I also average about 2 10x10 squares worth of stitching each day. A couple things I've noticed: 1. sometimes confetti stitches help me count, most times it's just confusing. 2. Working page by page is definitely the way to go. 3. Making sure the bottom stays clean is as important as the top, so I put a piece of cloth to protect both edges.

Watching movies while stitching...
It’s Sunday, so I’ve spent a lot of today watching movies (well at least listening to them) and stitching away.
Makes sense that I am now watching the Assassin’s Creed movie again. It’s better than I remember.

Making progress! The parking method is really working well, especially when switching colors. I'm definitely getting used to it. Gridding the fabric was also a good idea. It seriously has been easier to fix mistakes when not viewing the project as a whole piece and instead viewing it in 20 x 20 chunks. Though I'm concerned with getting a ridge which can occur with gridded pieces. Though I think because I'm using two threads of floss, that might not be too much of an issue. I'm almost done with this starting column, it has the edge of the robe and I'm approaching the elbow. In a few more squares, I'll reach the edge of the image/pattern.

I've made quite a bit of progress the last few days. Learning how to park my stitches has been really fantastic. After working a row, I place the colors specifically where they need to be. I also have been using my ipad to mark off my rows. Tonight though, I did some backfill with white thread. I think I'll continue to do that going forward. The edges fade into the background, so it's difficult to see where the edge of the robes begin. So far, so good! #crossstitch #crossstitching #gamercrossstitch #crossstitchersofinstagram #xstich #xsticher #xstitchersofinstagram

Breathe in... Breathe out... getting ready for the first stitch! Got the project on my scroll frame, attached cloth to keep it clean while stitching, and loaded the pattern on my iPad. I think I'm ready! #crossstitching #crossstitch #crossstitchersofinstagram #xstich #xsticher #xstitchersofinstagram #gamercrossstitch #projectrestart
