So… not sure if anyone still sees this blog.

But I need to say something.

In my past, I was not a good person. I was antagonistic. I was racist. I was sexist. I was a bully. I was, bluntly, a sentient talking trash bag in the shape of a human. I said things that were disgusting, harmful, and completely unacceptable. I was a jackass. I was cruel. I was wrong.

It’s been over a decade, and I’ve worked every day since to change. I’m not perfect... I never will be... but I am trying to be someone better than who I was.

If anyone still sees these posts and remembers me: I’m sorry. For all of it. No excuses.

The only explanation I can offer — not to justify, but to give context, is that I was raised with hateful beliefs, and I didn’t realize how wrong I was until sometime around 2015 when I left the household that gave me those and saw the world for what it really is. That’s not an excuse. It doesn’t make it okay. I take full responsibility for everything I said and did.

This isn’t some cheesy social media “please don’t cancel me” post. If you look at how long this blog has been inactive… I canceled myself.

I lost friends. I lost people I cared about. I hurt people I had no right to hurt.

And I’ve had to live with that.

It’s been a long and painful process of growth. I know I can’t undo what I did. But I’m still here. Still learning. Still working every day to be better than I was.

I joined my first campaign 3 sessions in. The group walks into a tavern where they meet my character, a Kenku bard. The group’s Tabaxi character sees me and begins to prowl. I send out a Dancing Light orb to distract them and sure enough, they chase the light.
